“Always a quick and pleasant experience going in to this vet office. The staff is great and you can tell they truly love animals. The pricing is always reasonable and you never feel forced or shamed in to a service or procedure. I have taken my dogs and cats here for several years and feel at ease if I ever need to leave them for a procedure”

“Dexter had his very first visit yesterday. Dr Dixon and his staff are so laid back no stress involved and didnt have to use a back door with my boy like I did with previous vet. Dexter didnt bark or whine continuously like he did at other vets he seemed very relaxed. Dr Dixon took the time to explain things to me and he and the staff impressed me greatly. Thank you all so much for taking such good care of my Dexter . I highly recommend this office.”

“Everyone at Animal Care Clinic is so great! I have had to bring in my 8 year old Jack Russell about once a week for the past month, and every time, they are welcoming, explain everything thoroughly, and are very upfront about pricing. I was previously going to VCA hospitals and ACC is notably more affordable in comparison for medications, vaccines, imaging, etc. They always have appointments available and the doctors have been very kind, especially Dr. Console.”

“We have been going there for the last two years, taking our four animals. There is someone there to always answer the phone pretty quickly (when not urgent) and we are always able to get an appointment within a reasonable timeframe, which is difficult to do at many other places nowadays. The front staff has always been helpful and the vets are very kind and competent. We're very grateful for Cuyamaca Animal Hospital.”

“For over 25years we have trusted our 4 legged kids to the dedicated, kind & skilled Dr’s, techs, & office employees. We have had many health issues & I’ve brought them many rescues to evaluate. There has never been a time they didn’t go above and beyond. They are the best of the best. They are responsive, diligent and caring.”

“If they gave out a Nobel Peace prize to veterinarians Steele Canyon should win. They are not just veterinarians they are humanitarians for pets.. They are pet-itarians lol. The office manager is a delight! She's so thoughtful and sweet. Even though that job couldn't be easy, you would never know it They try to help people financially if necessary and they've always seen Venus on the fly if there was a crisis. I drive 50 miles one way just to go to this veterinarian because they're so good.”

“This vet's office is like going to a neighborhood meeting spot. I've never walked in and sat quietly by myself, waiting to be called. Everyone I meet there, from staff to other pet parents, are just so extremely friendly and engaging. I've literally exchanged numbers with strangers to try and rehome pets from folks who have lost loved ones and inherited their four legged companions. It's a small joint, but they definitely have a lot of loyal customers.”

“From the instant I called the Advanced Care Veterinary Hospital, I was consoled and relieved by Maddie's empathy as she scheduled my appointment. When I arrived on Friday evening, I was taken into an exam room right away, and the tech, Sarah, very sweetly greeted my ailing kitty. After taking a history and then sharing it, I met Dr. Maret. I was immediately put at ease by her calm and friendly manner. The physical exam was completed, and all of the staff made sure my kitty was treated with care. High praise for this practice. Thank you to everyone.”

“Buying a horse from 2.5 hours away is a scary process! But I lucked out when I called Dr. Garfinkel. She spent hours vetting my horse and then talked me through the process with patience, care, and objectivity. What a true professional and nice person! She also understood where I am in my Dressage journey and shares a love of the sport and horses as well. Really a great doctor!”

“LAVA..Dr Catt and Dr Martin both EXCEPTIONAL vets for your large animals. Unlike another well known group of vets for large animals who are out just FOR YOUR MONEY.. they put their bill before your animals well being...voice if experience here ?☹️....LAVA CARES ABOUT YOUR ANIMALS FIRST!!!! Why go with a second rate vet group when you can go with the BEST!!!! LAVA WILL ALWAYS HAVE YOUR BACK and CARE for your loved ? animals who deserve the care!!!”
