Sent back a text when he could arrive, knocked out the repair pretty fast and probably saved us a bunch on a leased vehicle we had to get inspected for return. If I had friends, I would definitely refer Colormetrics to them.”

“I discovered The 4x4 Shop when selecting an authorized installer for my Dirtbox Canopy Camper. Joe, Fred, and Jason, their Dirtbox installer, take pride in their work and truly care about their customers. According to Joe and Fred, it’s common for even high quality manufacturers of off-road products to fall short on documentation and written instructions. Even though this leads to a certain amount of confusion and miscommunication, the mechanics here know their stuff, and they get the job done remarkably well. If something isn’t quite right, they take care of it. Simple as that. Jason’s intelligence, experience, and attention to detail really show when he does an install. I have never, ever dealt with such considerate people in the automotive industry. Totally worth a 1-hour drive each way.”

Barry confirmed the gear ratio I chose would be the best for my setup so from 3.73 to 4.56 I went and dam she's got her power back! It seems that people all over the bay and the valley come to him so he works with you on dropping off the vehicle and picking up. If you live within 100 miles from this shop do it I guarantee you wont regret it!”

“Monument is a small shop, one of many here in Livermore, but the one that our mechanic recommended to us when our car battery died and we needed someone to bench test it to see if it would recharge or if we needed to replace it. The staff there was great and took our battery to put it on a charger and see if it would take the charge. An hour later, it was obvious that it would not (a battery from Costco that was just under 3 years old on a limited/pro-rated 3-year warranty so not much use in returning it there).
Fortunately, the top of the line AC Delco battery at monument is a 3 and 1/2 year warranty and fully covered if the battery doesn't last for the full 3 and 1/2 years. I feel much better about this purchase and glad that we visited monument car parts for this issue. Thanks team!”
