“Today I brought my 2013 BMW 328i to Driven Auto Care for service. I was looking for a local alternative to the dealership in my neighborhood, and after seeing their great ratings, I decided to give them a try.

“I had some front end work done at Diablo about 2 1/2 years ago and the part recently failed though it should've had at least a 10-year lifespan. Work was out of their warranty (2yrs) but I contacted Diablo and they supported repair with minimal cost.
I'm also impressed with how they don't recommend unnecessary work -- I've asked about a few things to which I already mostly knew the answer but I wanted to hear what they said. They didn't embellish, they didn't upsell, they were honest about status and future timeline for repairs.

“We had a cracked windshield that needed to be replaced. Being a leased Mercedes it had to be an OEM part and could only be calibrated at the dealership. We tried working with a different shop but they would not promise an OEM windshield. Bryan at B&S was recommended by the dealership. He was extremely courteous, he worked with our insurance and did all that was needed. I would highly recommend Bryan at B&S Hacienda.”

“The folks here replaced the handbrake bracket in my BMW for significantly less than other quotes (other places said they had to remove the fuel tank / many things to replace the single plastic part).
There were some hiccups (the handbrake service mode was left on after the initial service, the dust shield was bent slightly causing noise when braking) but they offered to (and did) fix anything related to the issue for free when I brought it up.

“I had an issue with my car and Dan was able to have us scheduled within one day- he personally corrected the issue within minutes and even checked the oil and topped off the wiper fluid. Additionally, he wouldn’t charge for the service. We had a great experience and highly recommend!”
“Although I no longer live in the Bay Area, I want to highlight my experience with Kevin & Conner's shop. If I had to choose one word to describe working with Kevin, it would be HONEST. He never tries to upsell unnecessary services. For example, when my previous vehicle (an Audi with just over 100k miles and high maintenance costs) started giving me trouble, I asked Kevin for his advice. He gave me a straightforward, neutral perspective without pushing me in either direction.
If you're looking for a mechanic who lures you in with a low estimate only to surprise you later with unexpected charges, this is not that place. Kevin is upfront, reliable, and trustworthy.
Over the years, he serviced multiple vehicles for me and even helped me purchase a new car. If I still lived in the area, I would not hesitate to go back.
The only con is that they are busy which is a byproduct of several years of goodwill.”
“I am a 90 year old retired tech and have had my own automotive shop and dealt with many other shops over my lifetime as a Service adviser for multiple auto manufacturers. Because of my experience, friends are always asking me for repair recommendations.. I have trouble with that, since I do all my own repairs and have been away from the trade for so long. But I do believe PAS to be a fair, honest, reliable, courteous, and friendly place. Nobody is perfect, but they try harder than most.”
“It's pretty rare that I post a review because im not easily impressed, however, I took my mother in laws older Lexus in to these guys. They were friendly and quick to check it out. Called me that day and went over what they found. I was quoted a fair, reasonable price and they didn't give me the run around trying to gouge me for unnecessary repairs. Car was fixed the following day at the price they quoted. I would absolutely recommend using them for your auto repairs.”
“Great guys! I took my motorcycle up there which had issues with one of the bolt being threaded and even though they don't work on motorcycles - they helped me fix the issue very quickly! They are professional guys and provide a very good service. I have taken my Porsche there a few times in the past and I would trust their work with my cars and bikes.”

“Matt, Michelle and the rest of the team were fantastic. Professional, easy to deal with, straightforward and honest. They keep me in the loop as they successfully negotiated with my insurance company.
The work was to fix a damaged front bumper on a Tesla. The work and paint job are exceptional. Looks incredible. They also determine that the car had a protective film on it. They had the replaced as part of the project (something I forgot about).

“Probably the best value oil change you can get in the bay. $59.99 for full synthetic oil and filter change, tire rotation, and full inspection. +$5 for recycling, +$10 for some other fees. You’d have to pay $50-$55 for the parts itself! $25 for labor is a no brained.
It took them 2 hours, to get all of it done.
All Big O Tires are not the same. Hayward location will break everything down for you after the inspection for you and what they will charge. They will not pressure you into going through with it. I liked this part the most. I went to San Ramon Big O Tire and they would pressure me in getting all the recommended fixes… and they also took 3-4 hours to get the same procedure done.
Going to Hayward Big O Tire to get your oil and inspection done will save your sanity!”
“Unfortunately they could not help with what I needed for my car, but Jesus, was awesome. He did everything he could to try and help but it just wasn't possible for my type of vehicle. He was the best and when I can come back, I will. The price I was quoted was really good, super unfortunate my cars dumb. Thank you, Jesus, from Burley that was here helping the shop in Twin. :)”
