“We've never been to a bad grocery outlet store. This one in Livermore is very nice as well. One of the cashiers we usually see on Thursdays always tells me what she's been cooking lately. We found we make the same thing. Baked salmon with spicy honey on it. Tonight, she was making potato leek soup when she went home. It's a clean, well stocked store with a friendly staff. You can't ask for much more. We refuse to shop at Safeway. Check them out!”

“I'm not sure why the Safeway has mediocre review. I've always had positive experience at this location better than most Safeway that I've been to. The staff has always been friendly, and for the most part, the quality of the food is exceptional, and they are fully stocked... For the most part. The only time I had a negative experience, I shared with a corporate office which somebody at this location reached out to me before I was a yelper. They were very good following up with customers dissatisfaction experiences. Customer service: A ++ Price:A Quality:A”

“Been going here for years! Whenever I am hosting friends or doing a taco night, Hidalgos delivers! They have a great selection of ready to cook meats for tacos or fajitas. The staff there is very friendly and eager to help. In addition they have sides and whatever other fixing you may need.”
“It's a good place to go for mexican food and groceries. They have a great taqueria inside the market. They also make and sell fresh made corn tortillas on Saturday and Sunday before 12:00. Most of the time there is a waiting line for the tortillas.”

“Can't find a reason to criticise this place! Clean, well stocked, well laid out and with friendly, helpful staff. Good opening hours too, especially for a visiting Brit. The literal icing on the cake was the bakery section. The selection of British chocolate followed by cakes that should probably be illegal left my sweet-toothed self in sugar heaven!”
“My cashier Dennis was super friendly and kind!! He made good conversation during check out and seemed like an all around great guy!! Memorable, I never remember anyone's name but he made a great first impression.. definitely recommend his line”

Staff are a mixed bag- I never get my photo orders on time (even after receiving confirmation emails that they're ready), and I've definitely had some weird experiences with them, but they're overall pretty helpful.
It is pretty annoying that all cosmetics are locked up, so I don't shop here for those items. At the end of the day, it's a Walmart- I don't come here for a fun time, I come here for a functional time. And function it does!
As a fun bonus, I almost never see anyone I know here! Never change, Walmart. ?”

“Firstly, TJs is one of our two go-to weekly grocery stops...Safeway being the other.
I may be the only person who likes TJs, not just for the items but for when they discontinue the items. To boot, items that I liked and became routine in my life. Case in point: I used to like their frozen chicken pie... much better than the more commercial varieties. Guess what? They discontinued it! More accurately, associates would tell me for months afterward that it was back-ordered i.e. it was never officially gone. Two or three years later, it's still missing. Another example: they sold high cocoa content chocolate covered nuts. Gone!
Quirky! Despite that, I love the place. Then there's the workers. I love them too.... ?”
