“Quality of work was good, but the woman at the front desk was more interested in getting rid of me than helping me.
She just told me to make an appointment for another day.
I did come in without an appointment, but I explained that my tire was losing air quickly and I do not live near the store.
I realize that there were other customers, but I was kind of stranded. I'm 75 and I'm really reliant on a working car.
After a lot of pushing, she finally went and got her manager.
He told me that he would fix the tire if I wanted to wait until late in the evening, which I could not do, but at least it was an offer to help.
I have a portable air compressor in my trunk, so I left and stopped every few minutes to fill the tire until I got home.
Then I called to make an appointment, and the woman wanted me to leave my car overnight. Again, not an option. So more pushing and she told me that if I would come at 7:30 in the morning they would repair my tire.
Finally, I made it back to the shop using the portable compressor.
Overall, the shop took care of me and did good work.
The woman at the front though, was very cold, unsympathetic, and not really interested in finding a solution for me.
I would give the manager 5 stars and the front desk 1”

“I needed to replace a tire and I was recommended to Kevin Martinez for tire service. I was helped by Thomas and he did a great service over all. Both team members were super friendly and accommodating to helping me the same day I call. They have different price options and really give what you need! Other places I called didn’t have time the same day or needed to schedule an appointment which they didn’t have till next week. I called Saturday around 3 drop off my car around 4:30 and was out by 5”

“Always fast and friendly. I've been going there for all my Smog checks around 30 yrs now. If you suspect any issues with your vehicle that could cause it to fail, like a code or modification you made, talk to them in advance, before they connect up to DMV. Very helpful and more than fair.”

“Doug and the Tire Center team set the absolute gold standard!
I brought my car into the Costco Tire Center in Livermore to replace and install all four tire pressure sensors, and I am still blown away by the service I received.
Doug is hands-down the most knowledgeable, kind, and patient professional I’ve ever dealt with in auto service. He took the time to explain the entire issue so I genuinely understood what was going on. On top of that, he offered extra help from multiple angles, making additional fixes around my wheels completely unprompted and without asking for a single extra thing in return. He even insisted on a free double-check of my wheels after 20 miles just to ensure everything was 100% safe and secure. That level of care is almost impossible to find these days.
Beyond Doug, the culture in this auto department is top-notch. Everyone on the team had a warm smile, a super friendly attitude, and was eager to share auto care knowledge so I could learn more for the future.
Doug made a real connection that went far beyond basic customer service. I swear I will never get my tires done anywhere else for the rest of my life. In fact, this experience was so incredible that it made me seriously think about having my kids apply to work at Costco in the future just so they can learn what true work ethic and great service look like.
