“I've lived in Long Beach for 15 years and have always been on the hunt for a car wash that takes pride in its work and cleans the entire vehicle--top to bottom, inside and out. Too many places miss spots or give a half-effort, leaving me to finish the last 20% myself when I get home.

This past weekend, I tried Beach City Auto Detail and finally found a place that does it right.

I asked the owner about the difference between Package 3 and Package 4--the $80 Ultimate Orbital Wax and the $90 Premium Carnauba Paste Wax. He walked me through both options and recommended what made the most sense based on the condition of my car. Before I could even choose, he offered to upgrade me one package at no charge since it was my first visit. That alone showed how much they value their customers and want them to return. It's no surprise they've been in business for more than 25 years. I've also included a photo of their current services and pricing for anyone interested.

The service took about 45 minutes, and they have a nice shaded waiting area where you can watch your car being detailed. I decided to walk over to Clancy's across the street, grab a cold one, and watch the France-England World Cup third-place match--which was an absolute banger with 10 goals--and returned about an hour later.

When I got back, my car was parked off to the side looking like a beaut. I gave it a quick walk-around and was stoked to see it shining like a million bucks. There were no missed spots, the inside and outside were both done right, and it looked as clean as the day I drove it off the lot. One of the guys saw me checking it out, walked over, started it up, and pulled it around for me. The interior looked pristine, and the included air freshener was the cherry on top.

Because of the great service, free upgrade, and care they showed my car, I handed the guy a $20 tip. That brought the full Premium Carnauba Paste Wax detail to $100 out the door--which anyone who has visited nearby car washes knows is a killer deal for a full wash and wax.

I will 100% be back. Beach City Auto Detail is now where I'll take both of my vehicles, and I actually look forward to returning because I know I'll leave happy.

If you're tired of half-done jobs that leave you frustrated and still put a dent in your wallet, give these guys a shot. I highly recommend them.”

“I rarely write reviews, but after my experience with Class Auto Center in Long Beach, I felt I owed them one, especially Mario Escalante.

I brought my Tesla Model Y in for a repair, and from the beginning the team was very responsive. They made scheduling easy, communicated directly with my insurance company, and handled everything so I didn't have to deal with any payment or insurance headaches.

There was a small miscommunication about the pickup time because an employee unexpectedly had to leave work after not feeling well. Things happen. What impressed me was how Mario (Escalante) handled it.

He immediately took responsibility, apologized for the delay and the wait, and, most importantly, asked what he could do to make the experience better. No excuses, just a genuine effort to take care of the customer.

I mentioned that I also had a small scratch on the rear door that wasn't part of the original repair. Mario told me to bring the car back when I had time and that he would take care of it at no charge.

A week or two later, I brought the car back. Not only did they take care of the scratch and repaint the area beautifully, they detailed the entire car. When I picked it up, my Model Y honestly looked like it had just come out of a Tesla showroom.

That is what great customer service looks like to me. Problems or misunderstandings can happen anywhere. What matters is how people respond to them, and Mario went above and beyond to turn a small inconvenience into an excellent experience.

Mario, I owe you this review. Thank you for taking care of me and my car.

And to the management at Class Auto Center: employees like Mario are the people you want representing your business. He deserves recognition, and in my opinion, consideration for a promotion or raise.

I will absolutely recommend Class Auto Center in Long Beach, and especially Mario, to anyone looking for a body shop they can trust.

“I think I found my new favorite car wash called Tiny Auto Detailing at the corner of 7th and Junipero. They are usually super busy but I got there early and they took my car right in.

It was fun to watch the entire process as they completely hand wash the car with an amazing amount of suds, then rinse and dry it before pulling it into the bay to thoroughly vacuum and clean the inside, and I mean they cleaned every nook and cranny! I couldn't find any dust or dirt in the cracks and crevasses and the windows sparkled inside and out with no streaks (all the things the other car washes usually miss).

All this in about 30 minutes with competitive pricing, you can't go wrong, and you get to support your local small business too!”

“Fair prices. They don’t charge extra for pet hair vacuuming unlike some other Detailing shop in the Rose Park district of Long Beach… I always come here for auto wash and detail services. No upselling and they are fast! For shampoo and vacuuming, I only spend 1.5 hours here. If you forget to leave your stuff at home, they even have hooks to hang up your stuff. They are on Atlantic Ave (adjacent to The Good Will Thrift Store). My old SUV wheels always finish sparkling. I am always satisfied.”
