“Great priced gas. I always trust vp fuel for filling my tank. They sell tapes there too. They have regular 87, 89, and 91 octane gasoline as well as selling racing fuel for the race cars and motorsport enthusiasts. I always like stopping in there for gasoline. I really love the prices. I think VP has the best fuel for the price in Long Beach. It is high quality and runs good in the car. I recommend VP Racing too everyone who is looking for high quality, affordable fuel as well as racing fuel for high end vehicles. I think VP Racing is the best option for gasoline around. “This Sam's Club gas station is located quite a distance from the Sam's Club store. The gas station is on the west end of the shopping area near Walmart.”

“I usually get the Supreme Protection which as of 07/20 is $12. I love the fact that they spray down my car before the car wash and that someone wipes it down afterwards as well as puts the armor all on my tires. They have free vacuums there which you can use after the wash. I tip the guy at the end 25% which is $3, making my total spend $15. It's still a bargain and overall worth it.”

“Have been here several times, have not had any issues whatsoever here. Area has always been clean and the gas pumps have always been in great working order. I like the location of this gas station. It is easy to spot and the entrances are well marked. The store inside of this arco is also well stocked. Gas station attendants have been very cordial and friendly. Bathrooms were clean when I used them.”

“My best friend Jack Munroe Petersen owned this 76 station for 30 plus years and made it Union's (UNOCAL)best performing store. Jack sold it to Mansoor Ghanain (spelling?) who passed away a few years later (Reportedly) Jack used to buy 2 or 3 dozen doughnuts every morning for friends and special customers. Everyone loved Jack and his business thrived 24/7 and his place was squeaky clean. It's not what it used to be but it's still 24/7 and according to some has good fried chicken. I buy my gas at Sam's Club for $1 less per gallon. Jack died peacefully more than 20 years ago. He and beloved wife Dana are UNFORGETTABLE. R I P.”

“Needed E85 because gas has been so high to fill up my truck. This location came thru with E85 at a great price 10 cents cheaper than where I fill up my truck with E85. Definitely will be filling up here when in the area if ever needed. Nice gas station too with a good selection of drinks and snacks. Very convenient”
“Really really small but does the trick. Careful in the parking lot because it's close to a bus stop and the sidewalk. Convenience store is closet sized, not much selection. But I don't think I've ever had to wait here.”
“Nice fuel stop for diesel. Good price most of the time. Difficult to get into the pumps but that is not their fault as the real estate is small and PCH and Cherry streets are very busy. Best to go late at night or very early morning.”

Also has scales to weigh-in large semi-trucks and trailers.Surrounding area has many homeless encampments and old RVs, so maybe best to avoid during twilight hours.”
“I didn't get his name but the older gentleman at the cashier box was really kind and helped me resolve an issue with my car when pumping gas; the pump would shut off but my gas meter was still marking under the F like as if it wasn't topped off.
He just said that after driving, the meter should go back to F and it did once I hit the freeway.
Excellent customers service that I don't see often now a days, I feel like I'm usually being met with hostility or indifference at other gas stations but this guy was really cool for helping me out like that. Kudos to him and I hope he has many great days!”

“This is not necessarily a review of the Arco, everyone there has been kind and nice so five stars for service. However, I had a fraud alert on my card last week after paying inside at this Arco. I received a new card and had another fraudulent charge today right after using my card at this gas station again. I have no proof that is was this gas station; however, the coincidence is suspicious. Just warning others.”
