“Better than authorized Apple repair:
My latest repair was replacing the battery on my iPhone 13. I’ve dropped the phone so much the back screen is pretty cracked, but the battery performance suddenly became unusable. The battery was swelling, lifting the screen off and surely plotting my demise while I slept. Will cleaned up the internal moisture, swapped the battery and now I’m golden again. All for way less money.
1. Options-Will gives you options for original or generic parts and you decide. My 2018 MacBook Air screen was replaced twice (water damage, then dog vomited on screen -__- ). First time at an authorized Apple repair shop and 2nd time here. Will found a better deal on a used authentic replacement and I spent way less money. Ended up being a couple days quicker too.
2. Prices-My iPhone 11Pro Max just straight up died and Will didn’t charge for the diagnostic. Usually that fee goes towards the repair. Any issue that comes up, he’s giving me options and helpful advice on what to do. It’s always a tough cost/benefit analysis to put money towards repair or replace, and his experience on which generation of devices are reliable really helps to make an informed decision.
3. Services Non Apple devices. My PS3 and PS4 have been brought back to life, repaired, cleaned. They had minor issues like caked with dust to critical flaws like motherboard not working due to cracked thermals & soldering. Now I’m going through all my old devices and figuring out what can be salvaged. I’m also beating myself up for throwing away my old open air Sony virtual surround headphones that I now realize could’ve been easily repaired.
To wrap it up: EXCLUDING cockroach infestation (ugh, throw that sh** away) or years of cigarette smoking embalming your devices in carcinogenic amber like a prehistoric mosquito… you should bring your broken, dusty, cracked devices to Custom iPhones and Repairs to give them new life.”

“I just purchased an upgrade for my son's phone. Kimberly displayed excellent customer service. The store was busy but she was able to greet and accommodate everyone that walked into the store. She was nice enough to ask if she could ring up a monthly payment from a customer that walked in while we were setting up his new plan. “I have never been treated with such sincere, nonjudgemental and politeness as I have been treated at this store! Freddy, Brian, and Marlene all have what I wish there were more of in young people, particularly at stores, a natural respect giving service above and beyond! They never once made me feel I was taking up their time asking questions that seniors would trouble younger people in many cases have that learned instilled into them with electronics at a very young age. They will see later in life, they too will be outdated with something and ask the young for help as I did at their age with a kiosk and first computers. I cannot say enough how they helped and didn't rush me to make a decision for my needs. I will indeed recommend this store to all geriatrics....lololol. “I went to Tmobile store looking for a pin device to remove the sim card to reinstall to a phone they had sent me. I was a bit shocked when the rep said I would have to buy a phone because that's the only way they get them. Or I can go on Amazon to buy a bundle. I left the store a bit disappointed and thought I would try another place. I ran across ESM and proceeded to ask the gentleman at the counter if they had any. Without hesitation he went to the back and brought one out. When I asked him how much, he said nothing. Might be something simple but i was very grateful. He could have told me to bug off and I wouldn't have blamed him. True customer service and if I lived in area or anywhere in vicinity I would 100% give him my business. Those big corporate stores have forgotten what true customer service is and it's very refreshing to know that it still exists with the local small businesses such as EMS. Thank you very much and if I'm in need of repairs and I am in Southern California, you definitely have my business!”
