“I took my F150 Lariat in. I had it towed from another mechanic shop. When I called, I talked to Edward. He didn't even ask me to come in. After a short conversation about the truck he immediately said that probably isn't the issue but let us get don't eyrs on it and get the diagnostic done and go from there. He immediately gave me a good feeling about taking my truck here. The first mechanic was unable to get my truck to start. He told me the entire electrical module on the truck needed to be rewired or replaced. Orozco's quickly diagnosed the problem and figured out the previous owners of the truck had hooked up some after market accessories and wired them incorrectly and if a certain fuse blew it also blew the main start run fuse. Instead of being dishonest and charging me thousands of dollars they fixed the wiring for me, changed the fuses and sent me home with no additional fees other than the diagnostic. Edward was fantastic to deal with. He was extremely professional and easy to communicate with. I can't praise him or the shop enough. I'm just glad that there are still honest shops out there. I would ?% recommend this place.”

“Came in with a non-working AC/heater and also a strange gasoline smell at the rear end of my car (that occured when I started my car)....by the end of the day, owner John and his crew had pinpointed both issues and solved both problems (a new AC/heater blower installed...and a new gas cap installed )
Will be using Long Beach Auto Clinic into the future...nice to find a reliable mechanic nearby...professional and fast!”

“The team at ACA Automotive are top notch! I always get great service and the work is high quality. I have a 12 year old Acura and it usually requires something every year. I can count on ACA to fix it right. Because of their reputation, they are extremely busy and sometimes it takes longer than I like to get the work done, and I will exchange that for high quality work. “My wife, three of our five kids, and I were over 8 hours from home for a baseball tournament/family vacation (because that’s just life when you have kids in competitive sports). At 4:55 PM on a Saturday, I noticed something was seriously wrong with my front brakes. After a recommendation, I called Atlantic Auto Repair, explained the situation, and without hesitation they offered to stay late to help us.
They got my vehicle in right away and had us safely back on the road in less than an hour. What they found was honestly scary—my front brake caliper was missing not one, but two mounting bolts, and my brake pads had been installed backwards by a previous shop. It could have turned into a much worse situation if they hadn’t taken the time to inspect everything thoroughly.
Don’t let the outside appearance of the shop stop you from giving them a chance. What matters is the people inside, and they were honest, knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely cared about getting my family home safely.

“My regular mechanic in Hermosa Beach quit working on Vanagons. I have an 87 Westfalia and needed to find someone local. After checking out various shops, I read the many positive reviews of West Coast VW and Debbie. Sure, there were some unfavorable ones, but those appeared to be people with high expectations with expectations of inexpensive repair costs.
My van had to be towed and the driver from Falcon Towing (via AAA and a great service) said he knew of the shop and Debbie. He had high praise for both. This was reassuring that I made a good choice.
When I first called Debbie she had a firm idea of the problem and was spot-on when it came to the repair. There were other recommendations that I agreed were needed (my van had been sitting for some time).
The mechanic who I picked up the van from was excellent and told me about a couple of other things to be aware of and I drove off knowing the service and shop were a great find.”

“Evan was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. We originally brought our 2500 Duramax in for a torque converter and flex plate replacement, but he discovered some bigger underlying issues. Instead of just piling on costs, he worked out a fair deal with us and made sure we could get everything handled properly. Thanks to him and the team, we’re now back on the road with a reliable vehicle and ready for our cross-country trip.
The turnaround time was impressively fast, especially considering the extra work involved. Communication was clear, and we always felt like we were in good hands.
One thing to note—the shop isn’t located in the best area, but don’t let that deter you. They take security seriously. The lot is kept locked and secure at all times, even during business hours. When you arrive, just pull up in front of the black gates, and someone will quickly come out to let you in.
