“I drive a few miles to this grocery off and on...it has been a very good market for years! They have good produce and fresh, often very reasonably priced product. They have their own butchers and their meats are high quality and seem very fresh! There is always a butcher on duty which isn't always the case in major chains. The store is VERY clean whenever I stop in and NOW DAYS, what I appreciate even MORE....most every check lane in open with a REAL checker to do their job, and with a good attitude! I'm so tired of receiving less and less customer service and paying the same high prices as places that provide help!!!Kudos to Stater Brothers for the quality customer service as well as a pleasant and quality place to shop in East L.B. near Milliken High School.”

“This is a very nice grocery store. Nicely set up, organized, and very clean! They have a good selection of pre-made foods, however the prices are ridiculous. A single serving chicken quesadilla - $10. A salad - $20. Small container of chocolate covered strawberries - $12. Those are just a few examples that I saw in store today. I did not care for the parking lot. It was very congested and the parking stalls were very tight. Overall, very nice store to shop with a good selection of food and options for everyone.”

“Five stars is not enough. We recently went here for the first time ever, on an empty stomach, and we spent soooo muuuuch money! We were unprepared for the amount of good stuff in this store. Some of the prices are too high but for the most part there are a lot of good deals here. The entire place was clean and organized. I don’t remember how long the lines were but I never really pay attention to that. Overall, I am very happy to have found this place. We’re going to be here A LOT.”

“SUPER clean, with a vast variety of products and produce: I esp. like the array of ORGANIC produce--better than Trader Joe's, and not terribly high-priced.Bakery items are usually expensive--but are expensive most places. Sometimes "specials" are available.Very friendly staff- showed me - a "newbie" to the store - all around for specific products. Occasional samples given...When in La Mirada I often handily shop here for a few select things. Thanks, Stater Bros.!”

“Rude worker, recently visit to the store, we are looking at one product and standing there, this worker didn't say a word and just got the other items push and stack in front of us. I didn't expect was the worker there until minutes later because was a busy store. i know you need to work yet, just ask for if you can stack up the product should be easy. instead of push for the space. I know trader joe is good for customer service and that experience shouldn't even happen.”

“I come here often as it's my closest supermarket. On Sunday, i usually take a day trip and purchase 1-2 submarine sandwiches. They're the best bang for your buck. They use to make them to order. im quite sad they dont anymore and only make a few in the morning. This paticular sunday i was looking for a couple of italian meats sub. And there was none i ask ovne of the employees if there was any in the back or anywhere else. She did not find any. But followed with i can make them for you itll just b a few mins. She made me quite happy as i do not care for turkey too much, lol. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Desireé”

It is ALWAYS well-stocked, clean and easy to navigate...Now, there's a reason I make a beeline for this store (or any Von's) and NOT Ralph's, Gelson's, Stater Bros., Aldi's. etc. For the stuff of Albertson's legend: Fruuuuuuh-iiiiiied Chicken, woo-hoo!!!!!!!!!! It is killer-delish, obtainable at the Deli counter, but the best part, is Mariah, who serves up your 8 pieces mixed, with a smile and a very chill attitude. “I've always seen this place packed during lunchtime. I came here to try their sandwiches. They have only seating outside. There is street parking and in the neighborhood. The shop is a grocery store in the inside. They have jeni's ice cream, pasta, deli meat, cheese, refrigerated pasta, salad, and sandwiches. There's also pasta salad you can choose. The staff was super nice and quick in making my sandwiches. I got the Prosciutto di Parma, which has mozzarella cheese and prosciutto. You can definitely taste the freshness in the ingredients. The other sandwich i got is the spicy combo. It definitely was spicy you can tell from one bite of the salami. This is definitely a great sandwich shop.”

“This place just opened with new owners and I truly enjoy their food! I've ordered the breakfast burrito multiple times and their roast beef sandwich. The breakfast burrito is soooo good. I constantly crave it! The roast beet sandwich was pretty good too. Great ratio! The lady who cooks the food is super sweet and has a great energy about her. Definitely recommend this place! “I dont normally shop here but came in for something. As soon as we walked in the employees couldn't stop saying how cute my little girl is and were so nice. They gave her a purple balloon to match her purple shirt and she was soooo happy it made my heart melt! I must have looked lost which I totally was haha so another employee offered to help & I must say I was surprised because grocery store employees don't normally OFFER to help, I usually have to track someone down. So that was nice that someone was available & aware.”
