“Great used bookstore! Staff were friendly and helpful. They have two floors with large collection of sets and titles in various price ranges. They also have decent amount of used bookstore on Palo Alto and Stanford University history.”
“Kepler’s Books in Palo Alto/Menlo Park truly stands out as a beloved institution—its staff is warm and knowledgeable, and the shelves thoughtfully curated. While living many years in the Bay Area during graduate school, and for work, my wife and I made it our Friday-night ritual to browse the selection and soak in the great atmosphere.
Kepler’s hosts an incredible lineup of author events throughout the year, featuring well-known authors like Andy Weir (The Martian) and Liane Moriarty (Big Little Lies, Nine Perfect Strangers).
Kepler’s is incomparable—the perfect blend of community, culture, and literary charm. I really miss it after moving away from the Bay Area.”
“The book I wanted wouldn't make it from Amazon on time but I was able to search the Books Inc inventory on their website, drive down and pick it up. The store is cozy, the staff are helpful and if you need a book they are worth a visit.”
“There is a wide variety of merchandise from graphic novels, magazines, stationary supplies, and gift items.
It is a little hard to find as it is inside a small retail center and I didn't see any clear signage on the outside of the building.”
“I love this place. They carry a good mix of new releases and older titles. I can spend an hour just browsing the fiction. Very welcoming staff, and they let you bring back some books for credit toward new purchases. This may be my favorite business in the area.”
“It’s a very small place to find books they have. They have fiction, cooking, history, and other kinds of books. However, you won’t find most of the books you need due to the size of this place. I honestly wish that they have manga, but don’t think they have them in stock. Probably gonna need to ask them next time though. They also have sections where they have books on sale though I did find ones that were very pricey. Still a good book shop to go to!”
“Stumbled upon this local bookstore when we were in the area. It was a small but cute bookstore with lots of books and toys for kids. Found many interesting items here.”
“An expansive array of metaphysical and spiritual goods. Everything from books, crystals, candles, jewelry, statues, and other interesting items. A huge selection of tarot cards and singing bowls.”
“We went here for used book sales and often took home some books. Good variety of books. If you are a book lover , you would enjoy spending a couple of hours to read some books .”
“Slightly hidden used bookstore in the basement of the San Mateo County History Museum and operated by volunteers to benefit the historical association.
A large selection of all types of books are well organized across many rooms. Quite a few old books may keep collectors browsing for a while. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Prices are very reasonable.”
“One of my Favorite Christian Stores!! The staff is Wonderful & helpful & John is very knowledgeable!!! They are able to order items, that may not be in stock, too!!”
“Very nice bookstore, clean, well-equipped, it feels cozy and has a wide assortment of children's books (it's what we were going to look for) and in addition to books we liked that they have very nice Legos of plants for sale.”
“I arrived unannounced, the gentleman at the front desk explained facilities were not open to the public. It was a misunderstanding on my part, not a worry. I am a big fan of the Scholastic product lines.”

“This review is intended for West Valley-Mission student health services. Kelsey T., an R.N., was wonderful today at West Valley College. I had a campus workout-related ailment that I was concerned about...enough to make an appointment with my Kaiser doctor. Nurse Kelsey patiently explained it to me and "patched me up" without rushing me out the door. Jenny, the medical asst., was very friendly, as well. I'm a 'sophomore' at WVC, but this was my first use of this outstanding resource for students. Thank you...go Vikings!”
“Three floors in totalThere is a restaurant, resting area, and bookstore on the second floor. The first floor mainly contains chairs, clothes and most souvenirs. In the basement are children’s clothing, toys, and some stationery”
“I was disappointed this time because there was not a good men collection. So I had to spend my money on kids and women clothes. But I give them 4 stars because of my previous experiences there”
“I've had Chegg for 3 months and it has come in really handy for more challenging chemistry problems, or if I just don't have the time to finish by myself. There are answers for my courses... way past the gen chem level and my posted questions have been answered in less than an hour. People whining about the price or not being spoonfed answers aren't serious about their education. Definitely worth the money if you want an assist with your college chem”
“Such a lovely children’s bookstore! They have a very wide range of selection for books and toys for little ones. Worry not, they also have a small section for young adults as well.Personally, I love their collection of puzzles. There are many rare puzzles that I couldn’t find it online or Amazon. These are amazing!Oh, the staff is very friendly. They also have a gift wrapping station.”
