The Giant Robot Store, which opened in 2001, is a manifestation of the Giant Robot Magazine that ran from 1994 to 2010. This small store offers a well-curated selection of pop culture goods, including blind box toys like Sonny Angels and Smiski, as well as art prints, cards, stickers, and pins from local artists. The store also carries a range of cool shirts and fun home goods, along with the full Giant Robot line of shirts, caps, and Sawtelle-themed merchandise. While some customers find the selection a bit limited for the space, the store is considered an iconic destination for anime art, Japanese pop art, and other unique and collectable items. Such a fun place to go to. I find so many great trinkets and art here. The store is smaller and they don’t allow more than 8 people in at a time. Keep that in mind if you’re coming with a large group.
