“Decent room that was up to date. I didn't care for the window blind situation, the options were to have it closed solid with no view, or open with other guests walking by the window about 2 feet from your bed. Good location with a nice restaurant in the parking lot.”

“Very clean, open, good room size. Beautiful view of golf course. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Amazing shower with rain shower head and a hand held. No carpet, so allergy friendly. Ding 1 star because bed frame is bigger than mattress and in the middle of the night I walked right into it banging my shin.”

“Great location. Downhill walk to the beach. Good food and shops nearby. Quiet property. Wall AC unit but not needed with the breeze off the ocean. Only complaints at the price you would like a couch you don’t sink into. Carpet had an odor of beer and was sticky. Also room was not stocked with toilet paper and other toiletries and when the office closes at 8 this can be an issue, if you’re out all day and don’t think to check.”

“It's a decent hotel, just like all the other Residence Inn's I've stayed at with the older style apartments looking places. The rooms were definitely renovated, they look better than the older ones I've stayed at over the years with the similar apartment style but you can still tell there are some things that need to be taken cared of like the stairs that lead up to the loft has the carpet is pushing up and the railings could be repainted and some of the molding in the restrooms could be redone. As for checking in, the young lady was friendly enough but she seemed tired from the power outage that occured earlier before my check in. I waited about an hour before being able to get our room key and with the concert starting up soon we were pressed for time with the delay. As for the free Breakfast here, it was decent. It was pretty average wasn't up to par like what I would get at the Residence Inn in Cupertino but it was better compared to other locations where most food items are all still in the plastic wrapping. The only 2 complaints I have is getting out of the hotel back onto the road is a pain in the butt especially when traffic is heavy. If I were to bring my car instead of the SUV it would've been a tough one as I would have to cut up the drive way carefully while cars are speeding down the road. So if you're driving a car that sits pretty low just be careful. The hotel internet was not available as I couldn't log in even with the right credentials. I could've asked the front desk for help but with how the young lady looked earlier I didn't want to bother her any more. Overall my stay here was good, location is quiet, rooms were very clean, and the hotel in general was comfortable enough for me. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it's close to a lot of things in the area.”

“We LOVED this place; very cute hotel and the rooms were spacious, clean, and well kept. The room has a nice sized up to date TV and even a record player (yes, for vinyl records) which we thought was super cool. The desk/workspace is set up well except for the lack of outlets in the room. There are not enough of those but they did have conveniently located extension cords. We had a great balcony overlooking the courtyard area below with firepits and plenty of nice seating. The pool and hot tub were nice and partially covered. The only issue we had was a creepy aggressive maintenance guy came out of a tool closet of some sort after dark while we were sitting outside. He had a dark mask on and walked aggressively toward us and scared the hell out of us, talking in a scary tone and accusing us of smoking (we were not smoking anything but did have a very threatening charcuterie board ;) and each of us had a glass of wine). I jokingly told him we do not smoke, and he is welcome to search us. He did not find this amusing, and he continued to be aggressive towards us. We immediately went inside to tell the front desk. I am not going to lie...my husband and I were both very shaken up as we felt very threated by him and his actions. The front desk lady went out and talked to him in the utility closet or tool shed he was in and came back in and asked that I report it to the night manager before we went back to our room. We did and she did not seem to care at all. SMH...everyone else at the front desk, bell stand, restaurant, etc. were extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating though. We will stay here again and just not hang out in the courtyard area after dark. :)”

“Ok so 5 stars should be reserved for those special places most people will say. I got this room for 66 dollars and its got Starbucks across the street, baskin robins, and a Mexican restaurant, sushi its literally 2 minutes away from where I need to go and everything else is minutes away.. manhattan beach and malls with restaurants. So the location is perfect for what i need. The hotel has covered parking with lots of cameras watching, elevator, pool, WiFi im happy with that. The room, i was surprised to walk in and smile at how big it is and with a king bed that’s really comfortable. Stand up shower is what i wanted and the wash area is good and lost of lights. I can’t find a reason to give them 4 starts, they deserve 5. The young man at the front desk was chatty and not like most, where they just check you in and out without even looking at your face. Great experience and I’ll be back when i need to come back to this area.”
