“Comfortable stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott LAX/El Segundo. The suites are spacious with a kitchenette that came in handy, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. The complimentary breakfast was decent and the location is convenient for LAX and nearby business areas. Parking was available and the overall experience felt reliable. A few minor maintenance details kept it from perfect, but it’s a solid extended-stay option with good value. Would stay here again.”

“We love the hotel, which is why we continue to stay here. The staff is amazing per usual. However, we're very disappointed that none of the ice makers worked on multiple floors....This required us to drive offsite to a secondary location, Just to retain ice”

“The best hotel when traveling with family. Such an amazing experience here.! The customer service from each and every staff member we encountered; from the front desk, the ladies at the breakfast arena, the housekeeping staff, the men cleaning the pool area, and the shuttle drivers all GREAT!! The hotel was very clean all around. Our room was very very spacious , we had 2 beds with the sofa and the restroom is big too! The tv is a big screen with cable channels and we could connect our phones to watch on the tv. The hotel is dog friendly, they have a designated green area for dogs that’s well kept and maintained. The complimentary breakfast is sooo good! That was a big plus for us! The pool and jacuzzi were clean and stocked with towels. The gym area is nice too. The free shuttle to and from the airport was great to have as as well. The only thing that I wish was different is the $37 over night parking fee, none the less there is a metro station down the street. Overall great experience will definitely book here again!”

“Pros:
The landscaping is beautiful and the interior is curated at this location—this hotel has great bones. The hotel seems very responsive to customer feedback—the staff are relatively friendly, despite what some other reviews say. They also addressed feedback I had given about the lobby being too warm, and people seem to linger/work in the lobby more often now.

Cons:
The air conditioning was out in my first room, and the maintenance guy didn’t speak much English. I also had to ask for help twice before maintenance looked at my room. Thankfully, I was able to get another room after asking. Both rooms smelled a little odd.

One of the breakfast servers seems a bit rude/slow/inattentive. It was quite odd getting used to having to assert myself in order to figure out how to order/get a menu, etc.

The last few Hilton stays I’ve had keep having disappointments like this, and its frustrating—I rarely ever have to switch rooms/re-key my card/figure out how breakfast works at the Marriott’s I stay at. Furthermore, I’ve been trying to reach out to the Hilton Diamond email address to address a billing issue, but I have yet to hear back. I’m beginning to lose faith in Hilton as a brand.”

“My flight was unexpectedly canceled and rescheduled, and since I’m not from LA, I was completely unsure of what to do. I called Aloft at 2 AM, and they immediately went above and beyond to help me. They sent a shuttle to LAX to pick me up, got me checked into a room, and were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout my entire stay.
I unfortunately don’t remember the names of the first two employees who were working when I arrived around 2 AM, but I want to specifically acknowledge how incredibly kind and helpful they were. They made a stressful situation so much easier and genuinely went out of their way to take care of me.

The next day, they held my bags for me and even arranged a shuttle back to the airport. I also had the pleasure of meeting David, who went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of.

They even gave me a late checkout and did everything they possibly could to make an unexpected and stressful travel situation as comfortable as possible. I am so incredibly grateful to the entire Aloft team for their kindness, compassion, and hospitality.

I can’t thank them enough for everything they did for me. Exceptional service and truly wonderful people. I would absolutely recommend Aloft to anyone staying in the LA area!”

“WOW! WHAT AN ULTRAMAZING EXPERIENCE.
After my house was flooded I was at the El Segundo location for a month and a half.

The Staff and Managers welcomed me with open hearts and arms and my stay was ultra rejuvenation that was needed.

Complimentary Light Breakfast really added to my experience.

The neighboring residents were ultra friendly and was surprisingly quiet even being down the street from LAX.

Easy access to Metro and rail services and ample parking.”

“Near the airport excellent for late arrivals or early departures. Airport shuttle available for a small luggage fee that works perfect. Very friendly staff always quick to answer all my questions before arrival. Rooms are clean and modern. Overall we recommend it.”

“Little bit dated, BUT, at least they make an attempt to keep it up. Got to give them that. One thing I appreciate right away: Even though there were signs of dated or older hotel/rooms (some peeling coating near drain in bath tub, pealing paint above shower, older fire sprinklers)... there were simultaneously things like NEW or newer air returns, newer-ish closet doors and furniture that's been replaced fairly recently (not super old), etc. Bed and pillows comfy. Fair price. I'll take it.”

“Great stay! Hyatt points collector here - this stay was free (used points). Have stayed in a few Hyatt Houses, though liked this style best. It's not brand new, yet it is well maintained and accessories (kitchenware, towels) are new/clean. Amenities (pool, fitness room) were working and in use. Breakfast was great, well stocked and subtle variations from day to day.
Also, walked to the beach, yes 2mi+ away, but sidewalks exist to get you there along Rosecrans ave.”

“A solid option for visiting LA if you don’t want to spend $$$ on hotels in the famous tourist areas. And it’s only a 30 minute-ish drive to those areas via the 405 or La Cienega Blvd”

“Ok for a quick overnight stay when flying out or into LA. Reasonably priced but a little out dated on the decor. The staff and house keeping were very friendly and nice.

The hotel was less that 15 minutes from LAX”

“I highly recommend this hotel! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my family and me. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Plus, the shuttle to the airport was a lovely bonus. Thank you, Doubletree team, for treating us so well. We'll definitely be back 🙂”
