“Well, I wanted another 240mm chef’s knife and so I bought this gyuto stainless clad with SLD core steel from Yoshihiro cutlery. It’s beautiful: the hammered stainless cladding, the ebony handle, and above all how it cuts. I’ve haven’t noticed any reactive staining yet though I believe the core steel is semi-stainless.I sharpened it right out of the box - it didn’t take much, it does sharpen very easily, it felt like I was sharpening my shirogami knives.It’s my eleventh knife from these guys. I have bought a couple from other dealers but it seems the quality is never as good as Yoshihiro.Go for it!”

“I highly recommend The Kitchen Store if you are looking for new cabinets. We are new home buyers; we bought a fixer upper with no kitchen. We worked with Marie to design our layout; she was patient and accommodating. We chose the Omega Cabinets solid maple. It was bumpy towards the middle end of the installation. The installer was not able to finish the job in a timely manner. There was a mistake, and part of our order did not get made, so we had to wait for the whole order. This took an extra 3 weeks. By that time the oringal installer was moved on and I had a pile of cabinet pieces in my kitchen waiting. The manager Jason and the sales rep, Marie worked very hard and fast to get me new installers, and help negotiate final payments and within 2 days all was resolved. I am grateful for the support of Jason and Marie. They assisted a possible shit show and turned it into a pretty good experience. And my kitchen is really coming together.”

“Reback’s is a gem in the South Bay for hard to find plumbing parts. I had an old bath shower needed a pair of valve inserts, stem cover and handles. I went to several plumbing stores and could not find the right parts. Then I thought about Reback’s. I had been at Reback’s previously buying parts, the guy who helped me was not very friendly so I hesitated a little going there again. I was very delighted when Ethan offered me his help. He not only found me the right parts but also gave me detailed instructions on how to replace them. I replaced the parts without any issue! “true to the name, 1 day kitchen.It was a simple Calacatta Quartz countertop with under-mount sink. We had a smaller counter depth than standard kitchens and recessed cabinet doors, which made the project more difficult. The workers knew what to do and were very efficient with making the precision cuts and shavings needed to make things not only fit perfectly, but also look nice.Very satisfied with work and with quality of material. glad to be able to support local small businesses that offer great material and labor for great prices.I can't speak for the experiences of others, good or bad. For me, they did what was contracted: the materials were of good quality, the price quoted was fair, and it was done in a timely (1 day) manner.There was never any pressure to buy and there wasn't any undo follow up while I was pricing out materials with other companies.Only downside was the extra dust the quartz material generated when sink hole was cut. Workers cleaned up at the end, but make sure anything in the area where work is being done is blue to get dust on it, or moved away and down wind.Thanks again.”
