“I rarely write a review about anything. I think the only other time I've been on Yelp was to complain about a car dealership pre-Covid. This time it's to praise the quality of the shoes The Walk Shop offers. I have many shoes from your store and I'm ALWAYS pleased! Two days ago, I realized I have a trip coming up and needed a new pair of comfortable black, semi-dress shoes. The only store I even considered going to was The Walk Shop! Once I arrived, in less than 10 minutes, I selected several different options, tried them on in my size, made a decision and was done with my purchase. Turns out I needed them for an event yesterday, too, and ended up having to do ALOT of unexpected walking and tons of going up and down stairs. NO PROBLEM!! My legs weren't even tired and I'm almost 67 years old! The right shoes make ALL the difference! And I swear that your prices have barely increased in the last few years. Even if I'd paid more, they are worth every penny! A GREAT value for an excellent look and comfort! I'll be back!”
“Pretty good stuff wish they had more Ben Davis shirts as they only had them in large and a fb county section would be dope as well but over all nice store lady's nice although I got charged 90 dollars for 2 pairs of pants and one shirt they charged me double on the shirt and charged me for shoe laces I didn't get over all I believe it was a mistake still will come back tho nothing to really cry about but good clothes nice prices good people ??”
“I needed an outfit for a western wear party in a short period of time. I found a wash "n" wear blouse in red with embroidery and a rose embroidered belt that looked great. I had to return to the store to get the belt cut down. The owner took great care to do that for me. The outfit was fantastic with black jeans, black hat and boots.”

“We need more people who value long-term quality and maintenance over disposable fashion. Businesses like Shoe Hospital are essential in keeping that mindset alive.
I brought in a pair of Allen Edmonds Chelsea boots that needed heel repair and polishing. The turnaround was just two days, and the results were excellent. The craftsmanship showed, and the boots looked as good as new.
One thing to note: this is a cash-only shop, and they require a deposit when you drop off your shoes. Just be sure to come prepared to avoid an extra trip.
Skilled, fast, and dependable. Highly recommend for anyone who still believes in taking care of what they wear.”

“I came across a beautiful peacoat while perusing their Walnut Creek store location while visiting family in Northern California for the holidays. I wasn't 100% sure I wanted that coat as it was the first one I tried on and I like to shop around.Fast forward to a month later and after trying on more than 20 coats from all sorts of designers, I was certain that I wanted the specific R&G jacket, but I couldn't find it in my size online or at any southern California location.I called the Walnut Creek store and one of their reps, Nikki, was so gracious and helpful. Between shipping and payment logistics, it wasn't the easiest transaction to coordinate, but Nikki totally took care of me.So big shout out to Nikki and kudos to Rodd and Gunn for doing an excellent job fostering great customer service. A wonderful showing of the best of New Zealand.”
“Thanks to Tim at Athletic Outpost I can hike steep hills again without knee pain. After studying my stride, patiently listening to my issues and what activities I do, he outfitted me in a pair of shoes with a trail hiking vibram sole and a pair of compression calve sleeves. Made a world of difference. I can hike steep trails again without needing to resort to a knee brace or hiking poles. Or pain relieving meds afterwards. I am so grateful!”

“Today, I went in and Elizabeth was great! They weren't very busy and she went above and beyond to help me. Her manager, Andrea, even offered me my post b'day discount since I did not get any notification in my inbox. They were both so amazing, I ended up buying a pair of sandal and ordered a turtleneck shirt off the internet with even better discount when you order in store. It's a hit and miss at Madewell in terms of service, but this evening, they were amazing and I really want to be sure Madewell knows this. Thank you!”

“DSW does not get the recognition I feel that they deserve. I've been a DSW fan for years! This location at Gateway Plaza, I honestly have never shopped in person. I usually come to pick up an online order, try on and look over my new shoes, and leave with a huge smile on my face. See: like a kid in a candy store. :) The staff here are always courteous, greets me when I enter the store, and helpful if I have questions or need to place an online order. The store is clean and a nice sized location. Needless to say, I'll be back ...what girl doesn't love new shoes. Plus, I'm always earning rewards, which keeps me coming back. “I've been coming to Quenvold's for several years now to use my shoe allowance allotted every two years. On my most recent visit, I was specifically looking for western style steel toes and Robin provided excellent customer service by going to the truck twice to pull my size and get a second style that was being phased out. Not any women's high ankle boots available though (I'm going to buy off Amazon). Will be back in a couple of years for more boots!”
