“I rarely write a review about anything. I think the only other time I've been on Yelp was to complain about a car dealership pre-Covid. This time it's to praise the quality of the shoes The Walk Shop offers. I have many shoes from your store and I'm ALWAYS pleased! Two days ago, I realized I have a trip coming up and needed a new pair of comfortable black, semi-dress shoes. The only store I even considered going to was The Walk Shop! Once I arrived, in less than 10 minutes, I selected several different options, tried them on in my size, made a decision and was done with my purchase. Turns out I needed them for an event yesterday, too, and ended up having to do ALOT of unexpected walking and tons of going up and down stairs. NO PROBLEM!! My legs weren't even tired and I'm almost 67 years old! The right shoes make ALL the difference! And I swear that your prices have barely increased in the last few years. Even if I'd paid more, they are worth every penny! A GREAT value for an excellent look and comfort! I'll be back!”

“We were in the area and decided to stop by. My son is really into army everything. They have vintage army things. They also had a lot of work clothes. I found that most the things here you can use for camping. There were a lot of vintage pins from the army and navy at a very reasonable price. Everyone who worked there acknowledged us and would ask if we needed help. They had some cool unique things. My son got an army bag at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this store for everyone since they had a lot of winter gear.”

“What a refreshing experience! I received personalized, expert advice from Tim. I had a concern about pressure on the ball of my right foot. He suggested Sole inserts & a metatarsal pad. Placement of the pad is important & he did it for me. I also purchased a Spenco insole for arch support to use in my slippers. I tried on a few pairs of athletic shoes & there was no sales pressure. Prices are competitive. I still wear the Brooks Adrenaline style the he recommended when I first went here on recommendation of my Podiatrist. They are the best.”

I had to return to the store to get the belt cut down. The owner took great care to do that for me. The outfit was fantastic with black jeans, black hat and boots.”

Scott helped me find the perfect fit! He helped me try on a couple different styles and sizes. Going over each style and what they offer. He was very knowledgable which came in handy when I was weighing which shoe to get. We ended up choosing the Hoka Bondi 8 as the best shoe for me! My feet are nice and supported and fit great!”

I wasn't 100% sure I wanted that coat as it was the first one I tried on and I like to shop around.Fast forward to a month later and after trying on more than 20 coats from all sorts of designers, I was certain that I wanted the specific R&G jacket, but I couldn't find it in my size online or at any southern California location.I called the Walnut Creek store and one of their reps, Nikki, was so gracious and helpful. Amazing experience will definitely be back again, I loved al the options Kayanna brought out for me but ultimately came in for a specific style.”
“I've been coming to Quenvold's for several years now to use my shoe allowance allotted every two years. On my most recent visit, I was specifically looking for western style steel toes and Robin provided excellent customer service by going to the truck twice to pull my size and get a second style that was being phased out. Not any women's high ankle boots available though (I'm going to buy off Amazon). Will be back in a couple of years for more boots!”
