“Fantastic airshow, so happy to see the Blue Angels back this year! Glad to see it in March instead of peak summer. Much cooler to attend and enjoy the show. Make sure to get tickets online early, they do sell out. Be sure to sign up for the Airshow Insider program for discounted prices and regular updates.”
“Appreciate this place and these folks for what they do. Brought a baby squirrel last year that fell from a tree during squirrel season and came back this year, but as a volunteer. It was nice to meet everyone but also to be able to help in their mission!”

“The staff were all helpful, friendly and caring from the moment I checked-in, left my fur baby with the medical assistant in the morning to picking her up in the afternoon.”
“Went here for the Sac Sheriff's Posse Crab Feed Fundraiser. It was decent. Clean. Hard to hear & carry a conversation but the main hall was filled w roughly 500 people so i didn't expect itd be quiet or anything. The girls did an excellent job serving the tables.”
“We were in town and came for the Saturday market. We had breakfast pastries that were incredible. Ham and cheese croissant was well done but the potato croissant stole the show. So frekin good. Had a great time walking the grounds on a beautiful day!”
“This place is great. They give you high quality food (not nearly expired throw aways) at great portions. However, it is only once a month which its only drawback. Less food and once per week would be better. The lines are also very long averaging between 60-70 mins to ensure safety/logistics within their limited staff. The lady at the front can appear rude expecting you to know it all on your first day but she has a good heart. However, I have received conflicting instructions. They still deserve 5 stars because they are the best food bank in all of Sacramento. They are fairly organized and serve everyone based on time you arrived. They do require IDs and will refuse any repeats in any one month.”
“I had to surrender my cat to Fat Kitty City Humane Society. This was a very difficult decision for me however I knew when I arrived and met with Christine that I had made the right decision.
The staff and volunteers provide pure dedication and love to their cats which makes this a very special place and gives these kitties a chance to live a great life in beautiful surroundings.
Thank you, Christine, the owners, the staff, volunteers and the vet who provided special care to Bella. She will forever live in my heart, and I will always be grateful to this amazing organization for giving my girl a chance to live the rest of her life surrounded by caring individuals and other kitties.”
“This Thrift Store is also the best place ever along with Placerville and Cameron Park as well too Snowline is a fun thrift store Placerville Cameron Park and Folsom”
“What an incredible group of dedicated volunteers doing the (seemingly) impossible to serve people with physical, mental, and/or emotional challenges, which provides unforgettable and irreplaceable horse riding experiences. May God continue to bless all of their efforts through all of their volunteers and donors.”
“I recently had the privilege of volunteering with Troopathon, and I can’t say enough about the incredible work this nonprofit does! Troopathon is dedicated to sending care packages to our brave troops stationed overseas, and it’s truly heartwarming to see the impact they make. As a volunteer, I witnessed firsthand the care and thoughtfulness that goes into every package—filled with essentials, snacks, and little touches of home that mean so much to our service members. The team is passionate, organized, and deeply committed to supporting our troops. It’s an honor to be part of such a meaningful mission. If you’re looking for a way to give back, Troopathon is a 5-star organization that truly makes a difference!”
“The largest regional food bank in Sacramento. This organization has been serving the community since 1976 and will soon celebrate its 50th anniversary: check out my photos for the QR code and anniversary details!
I came here to volunteer, and to my surprise, there were even younger kids participating. I learned that the minimum volunteer age is 10 years old. Some students were volunteering for school service hours, while others came through different companies and organizations.
We joined the second shift from 1pm–4pm. The session started shortly after 1pm with a briefing and task assignments from the group leader. All tasks were explained clearly. The leaders checked on us throughout the shift to make sure we were doing okay and to see if anyone had concerns.
Halfway through the shift, we had a 15-minute break, and one of the leaders brought ice cream to celebrate a volunteer’s birthday and shared it with everyone. I thought it was a meaningful way to celebrate a birthday while helping a good cause.
We actually finished around 3:30pm, and our shift completed:
- 5,451 lbs of food packed
- 474 boxes prepared
for the “No Student Goes Hungry” program supporting students from elementary school through college in Sacramento County.
Everyone was very friendly and accommodating, and the facility was clean and organized.
Restroom: clean, bright, and decent.
If you are interested in volunteering, check out their website and register in advance.”

“Could not recommend this place more! We did a raku firing with Jake and it was an INCREDIBLE experience! He is a fantastic person to learn from, and even the non-artistic got into it! We also checked out the gallery which has some truly beautiful things, and at REALLY reasonable prices. This little hidden away gem is THE place to go to pick up a unique gift you couldn't find anywhere else. If I could rate it higher, I would!”
“I have a 9 month old baby girl and I was in need of diapers and formula. I have been struggling recently. The community suggested this Sacramento Life Center. I looked at the website briefly, and was a little afraid that this was an anit-abortion clinic and a heavily based religious clinc. I went online, made an inquiry and I received an email and phone back by the next day. They were super friendly on the phone and I was able to get an appointment quickly. The place is very nice and clean. I was worried that alot of people would be there but there was no one else waiting. I signed some paperwork. They got me to the back very quick as well. I spoke with T first. She was super kind and made my little happy. She helped me with a ton of resources which is exactly what I needed. They also helped me with a little welcome bag which was incredibly helpful and was able to get my needs met. I almost cried lol. Then I spoke with Erin, the NP on-site. She was informative about groups I was looking for. She was amazing as well. She was very welcoming like I could talk to her about anything. This place does have resources for people who are religious but idk think it matters what you are here. I'm not pregnant nor do I plan to be ever again so idk if this place is anti-abortion but they helped me. They staff was great and I would recommend but if you have doubts, ask.”
“Our heartfelt thanks for the incredible support The Family Network gave us. From our very first phone call we felt welcomed and cared for, communication was always a priority and that made all the difference.
We had the honor of working with Tiffany who was and is truly exceptional. She is so kind and the sweetest person to work with. Because of her and the entire team, we never felt alone during our journey and we will always value the relationship we made.
Thank you for everything you do and for making this experience so positive for our family. We are deeply grateful, beyond blessed and happy to recommend The Family Network to anyone seeking support.”
“Pros: Well organized, easy to find type and size of clothes I was looking for. Pricing seemed fair but I didn’t look at a lot of items. There is a fitting room.
Cons: No kids clothes, and selection of adult clothes and shoes wasn’t large enough to bring me back soon.”
“My experience there has been life changing. I'm so very grateful for the love and support they've shown me. This ministry has become my family. They saved my life long for God to teach me to live. I'm so grateful ?!”

“This store is a treasure hunt. Cute clothes, shoes, bags. Plenty of great finds and back down memory lane fun stuff ( ...yes, 'Minnie Rippleton'). You can spend hours in here because their customer service skills are always rocking. Thank you.”
“I love these great wonderful people. I love how they love helping others and how they believe in helping those who are in need of help and also I love how they never give up on nobody no matter what happened they still seek to help. God bless them and their family. And God bless those hearts as well. Thank you for all you do”
“The best horse rescue around by far I’ve enjoyed every second of working with these horses an there will be more great memories to come in the future 10 outa 10 recommend to everyone looking to adopt beautiful horses for trail riding an ranch horses these are the best”
“5 stars because the cost to rent and what they had to offer was a spectacular deal imo. It's an old hall, but pretty well kept. The inside was pretty clean and regularly clean and painted. The restrooms were clean too. Basic huge hall space with a stage and a kitchen setup. The provided tables and chairs and had plenty of those for your party of 100+. You can setup and decorate the hall and had plenty of doors for easy access to the stage and kitchen to the outside. We had no issues with bad weather, as it was raining that day. (no leaks through the roof) The outside was an inclosed gated gravel parking lot for the hall. I'd say it's enough space for your visitors if they park consciously considering others. (there are no parking space lanes for cars, it's like free-for-all). There really is no frills to this place. And if you've forgotten something for your party, Walmart is right across the street”
“The Bradshaw animal shelter has given me a forever dog!. I adore my moo moo girl. Though she had kennel cough when she came home with me. There are steps of going through the process of adopting a dog. You have to be sure to have the dog’s number on hand before entering and wait in line to ask if anyone else has already chosen the dog. Make sure the date is correct for the day of adopting. You can point out a dog you may like but the dog’s date may not allow you to adopt them that day. They allow you to sit in with the dog once you give over your information. They’ll ask if you want to continue the process of adoption and provide paperwork for surgeries meal plans and vet care with microchip information. Thank you so much for my forever dog ♥️”
“I loved it.
I completely recommend this place specially ERIN SILVA she was my daughter therapy and she is the only therapist we've had who truly interacts with the children. I've compared her job to others therapist and she is unique. I absolutely loved her interaction, performance, and dedication to her work. I can really see that she love what she is doing, so thank you so much Erin for the time yourdedicated to my daughter.”
“I’ve now been twice and both were quick and easy. Now, 2024, it cost $50 to cover lab fees for non HIV tests. They only take walk-ins. I’ve been the only one waiting, and it’s been a breeze. Dipuo was patient with my lack of bleeding and I understood I would need a second poke. Easy facility.”
“This is a wonderful Catholic church with a very peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, you can feel a sense of calm and spiritual connection. The community is friendly and supportive, and it truly feels like a place where people come together in faith and unity.
The Mass is always beautiful and meaningful, and the priest delivers messages that are clear, inspiring, and easy to understand. The church itself is very well maintained, clean, and a perfect place for prayer and reflection.
Whether you come regularly or you are just visiting, you will feel welcomed here. It's a great place to grow spiritually, pray with your family, and strengthen your faith. I highly recommend this church to anyone looking for a genuine and uplifting Catholic community”
