“Nice place to stay— has an amazing pool, my daughter and I easily save money on gas instead of driving to the beach. Everything is clean, the pool is nice and big but still kid friendly.”

“We stayed for 6 nights from 15th Oct 2024. This hotel was really worth it, staff were always friendly and gave good advice about transport and taxi timings. Always answered our queries. The courtesy car was an excellent service of the hotel, getting us to local venues, Robin the driver was exceptionally polite and helpful, he's an asset to the team, he really did make mine and my daughters experience the best as we were there for an exhibition in an art gallery please thank him for us. You do have to wait at times which I was happy to do. They even collected us from any local places.
The hot and cold drinks and free pastries was a nice touch in the lobby.
The hotel is very clean and I loved that it always smelled nice.
The Room was cleaned every day, spacious room and bathroom.
Location was good right near The Broad and Angels Flight which takes you to The Grand centralmarket.
Well done Omni.”

“Has a very upscale chic vibe, and the staff was pretty nice. The only problem that I had was there was a dent on the trunk of my rental that wasn't there before I had them valet the car. And I know that it wasn't there because I actually rent cars out and I do a thorough walk around of the vehicle whenever I rent them for myself. Also, it's right by the button to press to open the trunk.”

“Had a terrific stay at the proper. The room was small but comfortable and clean, I especially enjoyed the nice toiletries they provided. The staff was friendly and accommodating. A gentleman at the bar made a ginger drink on the spot when we didn't see ginger ale on the menu. The restaurant on the ground floor was delicious although all I tried was breakfast. Decent location if you're going to be on the west side of downtown and near LA Live. Overall very positive experience!”

“Rooms: Everything very good, clean and good equipment. We only had a problem with the shower, which the frontdesk people sent to change immediately: unfortunately the maintenance people left our room smelling of cigarette smoke.
From there everything is fine!”

“What an amazing honeymoon we had! We stayed the last five days of our honeymoon at the Los Angeles Ritz-Carlton in a junior suite. The room was beautiful and comfortable, and the staff provided exceptional service. The executive lounge is a really nice addition to the suites, and the staff there were exceptional as well. As loyal Marriott elite members, we were impressed with all your amenities. All your staff made a point to learn our names. The hotel was decorated beautifully and is in a great location in the center of LA Live with many restaurants, shops, and entertainment areas. Thank you for the luxurious stay!”

“Food 3 stars, location 5. We have been here at the hotel several times for a variety of functions such as weddings and business meetings, but that was about 10 or more years ago. We recently stopped by to begin celebrating a special day with lunch at the Terrace and a walk about the hotel and take a peak at the new pool they're building. The hotel itself is very dramatic. We had the fish & chips and the shrimp ceviche as nothing else interested us other than the two Manhattans which were very good. We subbed truffled chips for a few dollars more. I was however surprised at the limited lunch menu as it was busy for lunch. All other hotel dining locations were closed till dinner. It's always worth the $15 parking fee with validation or $25 just to look around this historic hotel as nothing in the LA area can compare to it. Also a great weekend getaway.”

“Pretty much what you'd expect. The employees were inviting and friendly. The spaces were fairly clean. The room was small but fitting. Clean but stained. There was an area in front of the hotel that smelled like something died. Restaurants attached and in the surrounding area. Liquor store/mini marts super close. Good experience overall.”

“Moody mid century decor everywhere, great taste, nice rooftop and views. Their staff treated me handsomely.

INCREDIBLE water pressure (I know it’s weird but such a great shower!).

I thought it was going to be a budget hotel but came out of here extremely happy.”

“We travel to LA 4-6 time a year and stay in the Hollywood area. We have experienced many of the hotels in this area and this is my favorite. First we were greeted by the General Manager Mudey, who is simply exceptional. Often in this part of town we experience a lack luster greeting, employees who won’t look you in the eyes, impatience and a general ‘I’m too hip to care’ attitude. It was so refreshing to encounter a confident, positive and gracious person willing to be helpful and kind after a long day of travel. The little things were often anticipated before we had to ask. Mudey really set the tone for our entire visit. The room was immaculate, large, and so very quiet. This area of Hollywood has a lot of activity and can be very loud at night. Cleanliness is everything, and this one was spotless, we really appreciate that! Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. This is the only hotel that has won my loyalty and made me want to return, I am looking forward to booking our next visit!”

“After reading great reviews online, I recently decided to take a spontaneous trip to Palm Springs and opted to stay at The Dunes Hotel. While I initially considered the Hilton, I found myself deterred by comments about its outdated facilities, prompting me to explore other options. The Dunes stood out with its impressive ratings on Google and Yelp, so I gave it a shot.

When I called the hotel, I spoke with Eric at the front desk, who confirmed that all rooms are non-smoking—definitely a bonus for me. I ended up booking two nights through their website and appreciated the convenience of online check-in.

I drove from Santa Monica and arrived around 8 PM, thanks to traffic. Upon my arrival, Robert greeted me warmly, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. I had requested a room near the pool, and they graciously placed me in a lovely second-floor room right in front of the pool.

The room was just what I needed: clean, spacious enough for one (or even two), and pleasantly uncluttered. Perhaps because I visited on a weekday, the hotel was quite empty, which suited my desire for a peaceful retreat. I also had the pleasure of meeting Lindsay, who was friendly and welcoming during my stay.

The location of The Dunes Hotel is a traveler's dream, just a short drive from local coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. The affordable price of $107 a night made it an even more appealing choice compared to the Hilton.

Overall, my stay at The Dunes Hotel was thoroughly enjoyable. It’s an excellent option for solo female travelers! The hotel provided the relaxing atmosphere I was seeking, along with exceptional service and a convenient location. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Palm Springs!”

“That was the most thoughtful surprise; I had a meeting back to back in DTLA for two days, which needed to be on time and prepare for it. My man, based on my meeting location, picked this hotel for me to stay in to make sure I won't be dealing with traffic going back and forth and being stressed out or late. It was such a great location and had everything that I needed: perfect internet service, room service, and also a mini fridge. Late bar, which, of course, I didn't get to use. They had a coffee shop, too, and I had a delicious breakfast, which was coming with my suite.”

“The Everly hotel in Hollywood was an amazing experience that was the cherry on top of our trip to LA! The rooms and atmosphere in the hotel were beautiful and the staff by the valet were so helpful taking care of my car. James especially was full of joy and made us feel welcomed. Jade was amazing as well and took care of us from the time we walked in to when we left. We will most definitely be coming back!”

“Staying here a week and this is easily the nicest hotel in the area. For a golfer, it’s got the best lake view rooms which overlook the driving range and also the golf course. Nice and clean, only complaint is the constant weed smells in the hallways, smoking is banned in the rooms but smoking marijuana must not be. It stinks.”

“Overall, the hotel matched the reviews – a good place to stay.

Convenient location for shopping, especially at night. There are still food options available even around midnight.

The parking was very convenient and felt safe.

It’s a bit of a pity there was no safe in the room – would be great to have one in the future.”

“Francis at the front desk provided exceptional service. We arrived very late due to a late flight. We checked in online but requested a room on a higher floor and Francis gladly granted our request. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The water wasn't hot on the first night but was a good temp the next morning. Perfect location for Crypto Arena, LA Live and shopping - all within walking distance. The area is pretty safe, so no major concerns there. There is a $25 per day destination fee, but we were allowed to spend it the hotel. Overall, very pleased with my stay.”

“Got norms, a burger joint, pizza and seafood. Got 711 around corner. Chevron and shell. THIS PLACE IS THE BEST I COME ALL THE TIME. JAY is so courteous and always does everything to make sure I'm happy with room and services. He's very welcoming and makes sure this place stays clean and calming. No druggies hanging out in parking lot or parties going on in rooms. It's such a great place for great price. Thanks you Epic and Jay.”

“This small, boutique hotel deserves every 5 star rating that it has!Check in was fantastic. I got a text the day prior to our arrival confirming details and providing check in instructions. The metro stops just a few blocks away, so it's easy to walk to if you don't want to bring a car (which there is free parking for as well). We booked the chapter 2 room, which I was worried might be kind of small and dark, but the room itself looked even better than the pictures and was very spacious and very light. The bed was very comfortable with a selection of pillows. The in room amenities were great, with a pour over coffee maker and delicious coffee and tea, really nice Le Labo toiletries, plates, utensils, bowls, cups and wine glasses at the mini bar and even a bottle of Dr. Bronner's to wash up with. There was also a record player with records which was fun and this old timey game which was also unique and fun.The location was great with being able to walk to the Covell Bar, tacos, sushi, Brazilian, coffee, pretty much any kind of food that you'd want. It was also a good workout to walk up the hill to the Griffith Observatory. Also amazing, no added resort fee. It's definitely out of the way and non-conspicuous, but if that's what you're looking for, this is an amazing hotel!”

“This was a great place for base camp to all of the Amusement parks. We stayed for 5 days. The rooms were clean beds Comfortable and showers were good. They have a nice pool and a Jacuzzi. The breakfast was fairly decent. We rented 2 rooms and there was an issue with one of them. They were very cheerfully accommodating and immediately moved us to another room.
One word of caution, I recommend asking for a poolside and not a roadside room. The road noise can get to be a bit much.”
