“I was apprehensive because of such bad reviews, but honestly, this was great! It was fast, efficient and easy. Noina's blood draw was easily the most comfortable one I've ever had. No complaints here!”

“Maria Dwyer was wonderful and very very professional. She took 15 vials using no pain at all and she was the very first doctor to EVER get blood from my arm instead of the painful hand and wrist. Ive had nothing but horrible experiences in the past from other places but this was the best and will be my go to place forever. I was super nervous and Maria knew how to keep me calm and relaxed!! She knows her stuff!! Also the woman at the front desk was wonderful too who took care of my check in work papers!! The staff is amazing here!! Big thanks for a great experience!”

“I came here to do my TB skin test. The online appointment system works great. Although, there were walk-ins ahead of me when I walked in, Terrence immediately told the others that I had an appointment and did my test right away. He was quick, competent and very professional. I hardly felt the needle. All follow-on instructions were very clear. They also do Livescans. Wish I had known this so I could have taken care of health and screening requirements at the same time.”

“Only posivie experience with the lab - very professional staff is working here, no issues with a complex case that my mom had (hard to locate veins). Normally takes many attempts and take long time, but not in this lab!I advise you make an appointement and arrive on time to avoid any delays.”

“Like many reviewers, I had a pre-employment screening. I booked an appointment through the web site, the check process isn't super streamlined. Overall, the whole thing was smooth. The person at the front was pleasant, my lab tech was professional and personable. Do make an appointment through the web site.”

“I came here for fingerprinting only. Made an appointment for 2:00, at 1:30 (they had availability quickly at this time of day). I was a little worried based on some reviews and the outside of the building made it look closed. But I walked in and was greeted by a lovely woman who went over the top to take care of my needs and work with the employer to take care of billing for the fingerprinting. It was quick, easy, and reliable. Highly recommend for fingerprinting!”

“I went to get my bi-annual chest CT scan done this morning at the Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City. It's always a pain to get IV in me so I am kind of nervous. The two young gentlemen greet me with big smile ... you can feel it even behind the masks. They put the IV in without issues and the scan was performed quickly and professionally. It was a good experience.”

“Had been to this place today for getting some blood tests done for my 11 year old. My kid is very scared of blood tests and had been having issues to sit through without crying until now. Onica (who helped with consolidating the blood tests from 2 doctors and was very patient) and Noina who drew the blood ( my kid was very happy as Noina was very gentle and made sure to go slow and as per my kid’s willingness when drawing the blood). Overall a very good experience unlike the way mentioned in reviews here.?”

“Just went there here a semi-quantitative Covid antibody test. Rodell was courteous and professional, able to quickly find my veins and the blood draw was over within just a few minutes. I got my results the very next day. Clean, professional, overall a positive experience.”

“This review is strictly for NuGEN's 8-week summer internship program for college students to explore a career in biotech. Pros: - Work individually and with others on projects within your department - Interact with employees throughout the company - Lunch 'n Learn sessions provide once-weekly brief lecture/panel style presentations on each facet of the company; lunch is provided - Paid above minimum wage - Half-time hours, so the days are short; if you really need or want the money, you could quite likely fit an afternoon job to get an extra four hours' wage every day - Freedom to request exploration in areas outside your assigned department: despite being an Operations intern, my supervisor(s) coordinated to get me in a lab on my last week to be trained on running PCR and bioanalyzing the resulting DNA samples - Occasional company-wide BBQ lunches, occasional department-wide lunches, and donuts or pastries most Thursday mornings - Knowledgable superiors with varied backgrounds and of varied ages so you can see how people in their 20's and beyond are getting into the biotech industry - Helpful superiors with a willingness to teach - Get a true hands-on understanding on what kinds of things go on in your assigned department from the ground up Cons: - Supervisors tend to be directors, making them understandably quite busy throughout most days which can leave interns with an awkward lull from time to time when projects and assignments get completed - Day-to-day tasks can occasionally be mundane; in an overall week, I would likely get to work in multiple areas, but many full 4-hour stretches were spent unstapling and scanning documents. It's not hard work, but sometimes it's a little underwhelming if you find yourself having to trudge through a stack of papers that might take a few consecutive days of repetitive work Overall an excellent experience. It is clear they put effort into organizing the internship program so as to maximize what students get out of it. Despite some day-to-day tasks being repetitive and mundane, the experience taken as a whole was great because I had the opportunity to hands-on get a taste for everything that happens in Operations, from QA/QC to production and manufacturing, document control, facilities management, shipping and receiving, and more. I would highly recommend the program for students with an interest or aptitude in biotechnology and genomics.”

“I had a very lucky day today. When I went to LabCorp, there was only one staff member, but no wait time, and his service was excellent - very friendly and patient. Moreover, he was highly skilled, the blood draw was painless, and my experience was very good. I only found out his name was Emmanuel at the end. He said he's usually in San Francisco, and he was only here today. I think he's fantastic!”

“I was a walk-in (no appointment), got there right when they opened and waited about an hour, which I thought was pretty good. The phlebotomist was friendly, efficient, and got my vein on the first poke and I barely felt it. One of the best blood draws I've had. She was excellent!”

“Hong-Jing Li phlebotomy technician went above and beyond to take care of me after I felt dizzy after my blood draw. Thank you so much! Nice, caring staff at the Mountain View Center. :)”

“I had an appointment at 10:20am but showed up at 9:50am. I was taken in at 10am and was out by 10:15am. I was treated my Mark and he was very thorough and pleasant.”

“There is no one at the front desk. Check in via the mobile link received in the text during making appointment online was a breeze. I had to wait for 10 minutes beyond my appointment time until I was called in inside. The blood draw was quick and done really well. Overall, great Quest place.”

“I brought my 14-year old here on a Saturday morning about 11am.Trying to make an appointment by phone with their automatic phone system was a useless waste of my time, as such systems are designed to be. Minus one star for a phone system that treats humans as "not worth talking to".We stopping in for walk-in, and the staff member was immediately friendly and walked us through the process. The woman who helped us even noticed my younger son waiting outside and gave us stickers for him to play with while waiting. In addition to being friendly and helpful, the person who helped us was skilled--she found the vein and drew the blood samples quickly and as painlessly as I ever see. I regret not getting her name to give her credit due. Our overall experience in the lab could not be improved upon--excellent.”
