“I had such a great experience with my blood draw today with Bhupinder! I'm absolutely TERRIFIED of blood and needles but she made my overall experience so so comfortable and quick. She was warm, welcoming and very sweet and thoroughly explained the process to me. Checking in was super easy too. I didn't face any difficulties like any of the other reviews mentioned.... Just make the appointment online! The instructions are extremely clear. Anytime I ever need to get lab work done, I'll definitely return just to see Bhupinder!!”

“After having MULTIPLE problems and hassles over many years with both CVS and Walgreens, I decided to give Clover Pharmacy a try. It's a few blocks from my house so that's a big plus!First of all, I'd much rather give a Mom&Pop pharmacy my business. And I could not have been more pleased and surprised on what a wonderful pharmacy Clover is.They are the worlds nicest people, super knowledgeable, and such efficient service! They have my refills ready and waiting before I even realize I need them! Do yourself a favor and make this little gem your new pharmacy!!”

“Like many reviewers, I had a pre-employment screening. I booked an appointment through the web site, the check process isn't super streamlined. Overall, the whole thing was smooth. The person at the front was pleasant, my lab tech was professional and personable. Do make an appointment through the web site.”

“Kathleen was calm and friendly, so the children felt safe during the test. It was a blood test and I was able to complete it in one go.We made an appointment on the website and were able to get tested without waiting. It appears that medical appointments can be made directly in various languages at unmanned kiosks within the testing center.”

“This review is strictly for NuGEN's 8-week summer internship program for college students to explore a career in biotech. Pros: - Work individually and with others on projects within your department - Interact with employees throughout the company - Lunch 'n Learn sessions provide once-weekly brief lecture/panel style presentations on each facet of the company; lunch is provided - Paid above minimum wage - Half-time hours, so the days are short; if you really need or want the money, you could quite likely fit an afternoon job to get an extra four hours' wage every day - Freedom to request exploration in areas outside your assigned department: despite being an Operations intern, my supervisor(s) coordinated to get me in a lab on my last week to be trained on running PCR and bioanalyzing the resulting DNA samples - Occasional company-wide BBQ lunches, occasional department-wide lunches, and donuts or pastries most Thursday mornings - Knowledgable superiors with varied backgrounds and of varied ages so you can see how people in their 20's and beyond are getting into the biotech industry - Helpful superiors with a willingness to teach - Get a true hands-on understanding on what kinds of things go on in your assigned department from the ground up Cons: - Supervisors tend to be directors, making them understandably quite busy throughout most days which can leave interns with an awkward lull from time to time when projects and assignments get completed - Day-to-day tasks can occasionally be mundane; in an overall week, I would likely get to work in multiple areas, but many full 4-hour stretches were spent unstapling and scanning documents. It's not hard work, but sometimes it's a little underwhelming if you find yourself having to trudge through a stack of papers that might take a few consecutive days of repetitive work Overall an excellent experience. It is clear they put effort into organizing the internship program so as to maximize what students get out of it. Despite some day-to-day tasks being repetitive and mundane, the experience taken as a whole was great because I had the opportunity to hands-on get a taste for everything that happens in Operations, from QA/QC to production and manufacturing, document control, facilities management, shipping and receiving, and more. I would highly recommend the program for students with an interest or aptitude in biotechnology and genomics.”

“I went to get my bi-annual chest CT scan done this morning at the Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City. It's always a pain to get IV in me so I am kind of nervous. The two young gentlemen greet me with big smile ... you can feel it even behind the masks. They put the IV in without issues and the scan was performed quickly and professionally. It was a good experience.”

“I was a little hesitant to go to this place because of all the unfavorable reviews. I didn't have an appointment but got there a little after they opened at 7:00 am. I was the first person there. The front desk person was also the one who drew the blood. She was very professional in taking in all the information and made sure she had all the paperwork before calling me in to draw my blood. She explained what she was going to do and only poked once and did not hurt at all. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I will definitely go back again.”

“It's small room at the back of Safeway but it does have two lab rooms, a rest room and an OK waiting area. The most complaints were about the check-in system. To me, it is a better approach then asking the tech double as a receptionist but YOU NEED TO check-in using that tablet as soon as you arrive. Unfortunately, it was not *CLEARLY* advertised but it seems people are eager to help later comers with the process.I was a walk-in, right after the first appointment slot but the gentleman came in 5 minutes after me was not so lucky. The appointment is 10 minutes per slot and the backlog grew quickly when there is only one tech working.I have no complaint about the phlebotomist -- she is professional and courteous. We did spend 5+ minutes, typing in the procedures I needed and printing labels for the vials -- this is definitely an area that can be improved if Quest really aims to hit one patient processed in 10 minutes. The lab room is not bigger than a 10*8 bathroom and the tech is so busy I suspect she can even step out for a break other than leading in the next patient.Again, make sure you check in and preferably make an appointment. Although it has two lab rooms but there was only one tech opening up the shop at 06:30 and the backlog can grow quickly. The appointment slot is 10 minutes but realistically, 15 minutes is probably needed per patient. The pressure on the single working tech is enormous, me thinkth...”

“I want to shout out to the two wonderful women at Quest Foster City. I stopped in on a rare day off as a walk-in and was only able to schedule an appointment for 7 and a half hours later. Within 10 minutes, Rimi came out to the lobby and asked if I wanted to wait until 2:30, or do it now. Success!....except now the doctor's orders were not in the system. Lorelei spent extra effort hand entering the orders from my Stanford app into the Quest system. She drew my blood, and I was on my way. Thank you, Rimi, and especially Lorelei!”

“I have been to Labcorp Cupertino (Prospect and Town Center) for 15+ years, and always experienced its crispy operations, the staff (especially Sherry) are courteous and efficient. This is a healthcare facility, thus many controlled procedures been imposed there. As long as you well prepare the information of order, personal data, insurance, and understand its queue by appointments and walk-in, then you won't have any issues.”

“There is no one at the front desk. Check in via the mobile link received in the text during making appointment online was a breeze. I had to wait for 10 minutes beyond my appointment time until I was called in inside. The blood draw was quick and done really well. Overall, great Quest place.”

“I came here for fingerprinting only. Made an appointment for 2:00, at 1:30 (they had availability quickly at this time of day). I was a little worried based on some reviews and the outside of the building made it look closed. But I walked in and was greeted by a lovely woman who went over the top to take care of my needs and work with the employer to take care of billing for the fingerprinting. It was quick, easy, and reliable. Highly recommend for fingerprinting!”
