“Last week we went shopping for furniture at the San Mateo store location and had the pleasure of working with Meiling Zhong. Meiling was very patient answering lots of our questions and quite knowledgeable of their vast furniture options. She even moved furniture closer together to see if they complimented each other. We spent almost 2 hours in the store and bought over 12 pieces of furniture. The quality of the furniture and the excellent customer/ sales service by Meiling prompted us to give this review.”
“My interaction with TFS was fantastic. I spoke with two separate individuals, both extremely helpful and courteous. We bought a new travel trailer with a standard trailer mattress with it's tags of all the chemicals we will be exposed to. Decided this was not for us. After hours of research and discussions ended up buying a Pure Comfort Organic Cotton Mattress. Looking forward to having it for our next trip.”

“I visited this shop a few times. I was really surprised how extremely nice and helpful people are working there. I met the owner Marika. She is very positive, helpful and it was fun to talk to! The Home Town is a very stylish and cute shop with the whole experience of memorable shopping for everybody, especially foreign tourists—the best smell, nice music, the collection of carefully chosen quality items and brands from over the World, and the total feel of a small home town on a Pacific Coast. This shop is one of the best Home boutiques worldwide I've been visiting! Great job guys! I will come back with my friends!”
“10/4/2024: I'd been looking forward to visiting Succulence for months, ever since my plant collection exploded with a particular fondness for succulents. I happened to be in the Bernal Heights neighborhood, so decided to finally check them out. Unfortunately, when I arrived I discovered a karate school at the address listed for Succulence. A lady inside told me they had been closed since sometime in June.
The owners have responded to other comments, stating that despite the closure of their brick and mortar store you can still contact them regarding workshops and other events. Closing a business is incredibly difficult, and I'm glad to hear they're still up and running (even if it's at a reduced capacity). To those leaving negative reviews because they arrived to find the store closed: stop. For you it's a minor inconvenience, but for the owners it's so much more. That said, it would be helpful if they added a banner on the website's homepage letting customers know the physical store closed. I wish them the best with their future ventures, and hope I get the opportunity to visit another Succulence location someday.”
“My expectations were exceeded. The shadowbox came out more stunning than I could imagine. Looking at the piece head on the with museum glass it looks like the glass is invisible. Only reason for the 4 stars is the piece took twice as long as promised. 4 weeks turned into 9. I would definitely go back to Dark horse for more framing projects.”

“My experience at the Colma Ashley is unforgettable. I went there already knowing what I had in mind to purchase. The sales lady greeted me with a smile. We spoke to each other like we’ve meet before. She was very pleasant, and easy to speak with. I picked out what I wanted, and the manager strolled by. The sales lady introduced us, once that happened we all conversed about outside of work life, laughed, and agreed on some things. The manager gave me an extra discount for my purchase. At the end of the sale transaction. The conversation shifted about spiritual warfare, and Christianity. Not all people want to talk about Christ. We all, are believers, and believe in the powerful works, and wonders of prayer. The manager read a few scriptures, we came to an agreement. He said a prayer for my family, and I for healing, and for God’s continual connection, and protection. I lift the building feeling blessed, and grateful. I’m glad I went to the store to buy what I wanted instead of purchasing online.”

“Absolutely amazing little home town shop full of absolutly amazing finds and the vibe of the overall establishment is nothing but good positive energy, the amazing staff of Jupiter & Main and its sister store Juno's is absolutely wonderful. They are so helpfull and know oh so much about the products you just have to by them, one of my favorite employees is the boy with curly hair he is so welcoming and comforting to talk to and so enlightening and scholarly, he always helps me with any questions I have and is always always so polite and dresses so adorable. I asolutley love this store and the vie around it so so warm and happy, would 100% recommend to anyone I can the products are all high quality and made by amazing big and small businesses and whe you buy any item it is wrapped beautifully in little bags that are eco friendly! can't talk about this beautiful store enough! Jupitars aura is so rustic and leathery with elegance as its sister store Juno's is so mature and sophisticated with a wild edge, everything I the stores is worth the price as they are more rare finds and the 2 stores are so conviniantly right across the street from each other, i'll always come to this store whenever I come see my boyfriend in HMB!”

“I wanted to recommend Nordic Nest to those looking for knitting supplies. Anette, the owner, was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful to my 83 year old mom who was looking for yarn and knitting supplies for a gift. Two other local stores completely blew her off when she called for assistance, but Anette was very kind not only over the phone but also texted back and forth with her a few times. We purchased some beautiful yarn at a reasonable price there today from Anette, and shortly after we left, she (as promised) even sent my Mom links to a number of websites where we could purchase patterns. Anette was great in person too, had terrific suggestions, and was very patient with my Mom. The store itself is lovely too, and we will need to return to look at the various artisanal gifts on display and available for purchase. Anette & Nordic Nest are keepers for sure!”

“We purchased a beautiful water fountain from Giannini back in 2014 and had an excellent experience with the whole process. Recently, our fountain started having issues and I contacted Giannini. Alex came through for us and found a time slot in their busy delivery schedule to make a service call (we live 2 ½ hours away). Johnny and his crew not only fixed the issue (a disconnected tube inside the fountain) but they took the fountain apart, replaced old components and even scrubbed off all the algae and calcium build-up. Our fountain is working perfectly again and looks almost brand new! Thank you so much Alex and crew!”
“I've come in here twice and the owner is super nice and informative. If you're looking for lots of baby tropical plants at a fair price she has a ton of them. Her selection beyond that is also great and the vibe is also really cozy. If you like plants and or are interested, definitely worth the drive if you're in SF/Peninsula :)”

“In love with the store! Had a wonderful time starting my Christmas shopping and found a gift for a friend. Staff was sooo nice. Store was P R E T T Y. Vibe's really awesome-- it is relaxing and very inviting. I told the ladies the store reminds me the stores in Wailea, Maui. They offered to wrap my present for free and it was a beautiful wrapping (which I forgot to take a pic of unfortunately).”

“I LOVE Shelby's Garden! A few years ago a dear friend got me some beautiful yet minimal bracelets from here and I have since purchased many other pieces, really unique stuff and reasonable price, don't think I paid more than $30 for a piece. Was wandering in here a few weeks ago needed some retail therapy, and decided to smell their scent selection, smelled this Capri Blue Volcano hand lotion and went to heaven. The smell immediately comforted me, seemed so familiar but I couldn't quite place it. I go home to research (I thought maybe it was the scent of one of my Vegas cainos and thats why i recognized it lol!) and of course - it's the scent Anthropolgie uses in their stores! Addicting and a known universally accepted scent! To the point where a man stopped me on Laurel and said "Ma'am I'm sorry if this comes off wrong but you smell AMAZING" =) (fun fact for single ladies: based on research men really like citrus or vanilla/pumpkin yes pumpkin scents on women and this is mostly citrus with light floral base notes! Isnt that something...). I asked my husband how he Iiked this because he's never been in an Anthropologie or to Shelby's and he applied like 3x to his hands and sat there sniffing them like Molly Shannon in Superstar. What a fun cute store to browse there is all sorts of stuff the owner must hand-pick everything because it's so charming and there is always something new/fun/pretty/cute to buy!”

“We came here to replace all our bedrooms' glass closet doors with this customized design. They delivered and installed the doors and helped dump the old ones for a fair price.
Our floor is kinda uneven but they did make the sliding smooth and quiet. They were patient and professional to adjust everything to be perfect. The doors look really fantastic.”
