“Vlad’s right. You don’t go to In-N-Out and get frustrated because they don’t have steak on the menu. It’s not luxury and is priced accordingly.The staff was super accommodating and warm on my recent stay, as my internal clock was still in Europe and I needed to crash early in a quiet room. Mine (on the top) was silent (though I do use a noise app, piped into a small Bluetooth speaker—this has saved my life).Upon entering there was for sure a cleaning smell; opening the window and door for a few minutes helped a lot. Sensory adaptation did too.My room was also exceptionally clean. It was also pretty big, with a very good bed and a small seating area. Big enough for two people to do yoga or, you know, whatever.The rain shower, hot and high-pressure, was a kind of heaven first thing in the morning.The lack of a pay-to-play shuttle didn’t bother me too much; Vlad’s right. The shuttle is kaput. No more shuttle. Buh bye. My taxi to was $22 and my Lyft from was $18. Vlad got fleeced.Walkability: There’s a TJ’s and a huge Safeway a 15-minute walk away, as well as many Chinese restaurants, at least one Mexican, and some others. The area looks sketchier than it is.”

“Decent, clean, and convenient airport Westin location. 10 minute shuttle ride to the gates, shuttle leaves every 20 mins.Good sound insulation, though you might overhear the muffled sound of the jet's full throttle take-off if your room is facing towards the runways.Nothing to do around the area, so only suitable for crashing in the way to/from SFO.”

“This is our favorite SFO airport hotel and we have stayed in dozens. Aloft properties are always clear winners and this location is no exception. We loved our smooth and efficient check in, airport shuttle, ramen vending machine in the lobby, and a sweet gym. The receptionist was also very friendly and accommodating. We will 100% stay here again before or after a flight. There are a number of excellent places to eat nearby. Even though it is near SFO, we never heard planes while in the room. We also liked the pure blackout shades for a good sleep.Rooms: Rooms are superb with good soundproofing, great water pressure, comfortable beds, clean sheets, and awesome blackout curtains. Also, plenty of bedside outlets for charging all your devices.Food & drinks: Lots of options in the lobby including a bar and a ramen noodle vending machine that had surprisingly delicious soup. There were many beer and liquor options as well. Lots of candy and chips and drinks to choose from.Noteworthy details: Smooth operating entry and exit gates make in and outs a breeze.”

“July 2023 Stayed in the 2-bedroom executive suite, which was a corner unit in this place that looks like it was a motel in a previous lifetime.PRO:The rooms have been renovated, bathroom was immaculate, fireplace below the TV, and despite being near SFO, the airplane noise was minimal. The shower has a hand shower head AND a waterfall head that comes from the ceiling. This is a hidden gem. Free breakfast included oatmeal, eggs, bacon, toast, pastries, yogurt, peach cups, and a Belgian waffle maker. There's a small rack of sundries in case you forgot your OTC meds/toiletries. There's Trader Joe's, Safeway and a bunch of eateries nearby but not really walking distance away.CON:Walls were kind of thin so I could hear the people next to us. Airport shuttle is about $8/pp and only runs every 40 minutes.”

“Other than a few dings and scuffs, our room was clean and comfortable. Hot shower. We felt safe and the staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast was excellent! Thank you El Rancho!”

“Checked in and front desk immediately changed my rate to be $100 more than what I booked over a month ago. I was stuck paying. Every time I passed the counter the guy had a sarcastic smile on his face cause he knew I was very upset. Rooms are very dated. No business charging almost $300/night for this place. Incredibly disappointed and will never come back.”
