“Chris and his apprentice are amazing cobblers. Their shoes, hats, bags, and other products are of the best quality for the price. They use real sheepskin (none of the "wool-lined" nonsense by the likes of Uggs). Naturally moisturizing lanolin and antimicrobial (non-smelly) properties! They're located in an easily accessible non-descript white building on Airport Blvd. I called in advance before heading there, and Chris said he was able to see me in and even gave me a tour of his whole workshop when I arrived. Support your small decades-old businesses! You can even buy his products on Shopify.”

“I happened to be in the area yesterday and decided to check out Madewell on the whim. I walked down to the boutique, saw a 20% off sale sign and used this for my first genuine leather jacket purchase. I was in and out of the store under 15 minutes including trying on two sizes and getting rung up at the cashier for my purchase. Thank you to Maria for greeting me within minutes of entering the store, assisting me in the fitting room, and finalizing my purchase at the front counter. I really appreciate that the whole team helped each other communicate applying the discount and then getting a sleeve protector in the back. Everyone was genuinely cordial yesterday, a win-win experience. I would recommend this store for anyone looking for quality or in my case, a nice leather jacket. Madewell in Burlingame :)”

Jason took his time to walk us through all the options, show us how they will wear in. He patiently answered all my engineer-husband's questions until a decision was made. Jason was very knowledgeable about the company, I'm not sure if they do sales training but this guy memorized the script and represented them very well.”

“I have gone to this store 2 times and just ordered over the phone some more supplies for shoe making. It is a huge warehouse and the employees are quite knowledgeable. The business is run in an old- fashion way-no website. But if you know what you want or have a picture of what you need call and they will help you. The store carries soles, leather, leather supplies, grommets and eyelets, leather paints, some purse making supplies, and so much more.”

“Came here on a whim randomly looking for a classic Nickelodeon shirt. I wasn't expecting this to be the spot, but they had an epic tie-die one that was perfect. I had always associated Journey's with being over priced, but was pleasantly surprised when this tee was only $20. I have not bought shoes from here in years, but they do have a solid selection on various types of popular and well known brands. They also sell socks, hoodies, and hats! The staff was super friendly and greeted me on the way in, offering to help and answer any questions I had. I'd definitely come back!”

“For over Ten years I've bought 3 pairs of Redwing Shoes here. The staff are always excellent as are the shoes. Currently they helped me get my new boots w tough toe And their insole suggestion was a GAME CHANGER! I've always known my big ass frame needed good work boots. Hence buying the Redwings. But I'd always viewed their fitted insoles as "unnecessary add-ons" much like soda at restaurants. That's where they make their Markup. Anyways after over ten years of trust and faith in just their quality shoes. This time I opted for the 3D foot scan and arch analysis. The process was painless and I felt a little silly walking around in my socks trying to step on the pad. But in minutes the dude read my results and suggested insoles. The insoles were $60 (holy crap!) BUT! I can 200% attest that I had ZERO "new shoe foot ache" on even day one or any day since. I actually notice less aches and pain in my back and hips and knees. And I feel more stable and safe. Redwing is currently repairing my 5 year old boots (they send your Redwings to the factory to refurbish them for a reasonable fee ) in will then have two pairs of the same boots. Old and good. New and awesome. I believe this product is made by and made for hard working people that care about quality.”
