“My husband Rui and myself went into the Verizon store on Pelendale today with a billing issue. I had been hung up on multiple times by customer service and then when I did talk to them it was an hour and a half conversation. It was very frustrating. So we went in the store and I want to thank AJ for having the knowledge and patience with his Verizon customer service people to get this all taken care of for us. “If you enjoy vintage stereo equipment and respect someone’s craft, Luis is absolutely the person to bring it to.
I’ve taken multiple pieces to Luis over the years, and every one of them came back in fantastic condition. I’ve never had any issues coordinating drop-offs or pickups. And yes, I also miss his downtown Sacramento location — but if you truly want your gear restored the right way, he’s well worth the trip to Modesto.
He’s very clear about scheduling: call ahead to make an appointment for drop-off or pickup. That’s not unreasonable — that’s respecting his time and expertise. And if you expect someone with decades of specialized experience to diagnose your equipment for free, you’re not living in reality.
On top of that, Luis is simply fun to talk to. He’s passionate about music and the gear that brings it to life. When I mentioned I had a Marantz 2285B I wanted recapped, his eyes lit up and he smiled immediately. He did an incredible job — it looks beautiful and sounds even better.

“Pretty well stocked with Pokemon cards, but prices are eye-watering. Yes, they'll keep raising prices, but so does every other reseller and at least they are doing pre-order to guarantee you'll be able to grab something.
One star less because prices suck, but that is everywhere if you're chasing TCG of any sort.
Otherwise 5-star for everything else. Very friendly and knowledge staff, helpful and great attitude. Glad they're still open.”
“I give this store 5 stars. Excellent customer service. I got there 15 .minutes before closing and was helped by the manager. He got me the best deal he could on a free phone ( which i am totally satisfied with), due to a slow server he ended up staying till 8:45 helping me. Then to top it off her have me a free day charger and a scarf for my wife. I am definitely making this my go to store for all my metro pcs needs.”

“It’s so my son is autistic. I got a call from my wife that he was having a meltdown she was having a really hard time because he wanted some toys he couldn’t have and he didn’t like he had to put them back so he ran out the front with them. I told her to inform the employees he was not trying to steal. He just didn’t understand and I would be there in two minutes to help. Soon as I pulled up, he turned around, put the toys back and a manager came walking right up to me as my son is still in a full-blown meltdown. Told me “don’t worry about anything take your time. There’s no problems here at all”. he was completely helpful and completely understood. I don’t know if they’re trained to recognize. but you can definitely tell the manager knew what was going on and handled it like a true professional. Is target will always have our business. They took an obvious hard situation like pure professionals”
“This review is mainly for the store itself and for the items available. Won't go into the customer service part 'cause we all pretty much have a general idea already what customer service is like from other reviews and experiences. This appears to be the latest and greatest Walmart in all of Modesto, considering there are a total of 3 Walmarts in Modesto. This Super Center on McHenry Ave, another Super Center (1st ever Walmart in Modesto) on Plaza Pkwy, and a new Neighborhood Walmart on coffee Rd. I like this one the best as it seems to be the most organized Super Center with a wide variety of things available ranging from food, beverages automotive, houseware, health/personal items, sports, outdoors, clothings/shoes, etc.”
