“Big city futon has been in business for 18 years now and is part of Santa Barbara County sleep shops in Design Center. You are never going to make everyone happy, and satisfied customers usually don't go on and post that everything went perfectly. You don't really hear about all the planes that land safely. It is now under new ownership and we will continue to give you really good products and always striving to have the best possible service. Come in and visit at Big City Food time because you can also pick up luxury mattresses or designer sofas or recliners at the same store. Truly a very friendly buying experience.”

ALl the items here are curated and very unique, and prices are very affordable for the Santa barbara area. the staff is super nice Tracy and Tim not only were very friendly and helpful but knowledgeable and gave good ideas. Provincial to boho chic to elegant to beach to farm house, they got it all for all styles and a very wide variety. Once a year they have a "yard sale" (around the end of august) and things are VERY well priced and their selection is always so varied. Including clothing, stationary furniture and decor.”

“We have bought several pieces from the Sleep Shoppe: a queen mattress and bed that lifts up and down, a queen sofa bed, a lift chair, a swivel armchair, and more. Always great customer service and advice. The owner, Peter, goes above and beyond if there is a problem; recently my husband's lift chair had a problem, so Peter came out to Solvang where we live several times with different solutions until one worked. We have the lift chair working again and hubby is very happy and relieved. No charge for the great service and resolution! Thank you, Peter and Jack...we are so grateful!
