“This store never disappoints. I always see something of interest. They're definitely loaded for the holidays. The food section was larger than I'd ever seen it. There were just so many selections to choose from. The houseware section. Never disappoints there's always something of interest. My favorite section in this store is always the linen section. I didn't really see anything that I couldn't live without. But, overall the pillows, the candles and the home decor section was completely filled with loads of interesting things. This store is always one of my top HomrGoods destinations”

“There are still truly good people in this world, and Carol at TJ Maxx in Castro Valley proved it today.
My 84-year-old mother, who has suffered several strokes and depends on a walker, was shopping with me when we left the store. As we were getting settled into the car, Carol came out to ask if my mother had dropped some money. Sure enough, she had lost $60.
She could have easily ignored it or assumed someone else would handle it, but instead she chose honesty, kindness, and compassion. In a world where so many people have lost faith in humanity, this moment reminded us that there are still incredible people out there who genuinely care about others.
Carol, thank you for your integrity and for treating my mother with such dignity and kindness. What may have seemed like a small act to you meant the world to us. TJ Maxx is lucky to have someone like you representing their store.

What sets Nhien apart is his precision. He knows my style and fit so well that it’s rare for him to miss. I’m someone who loves fresh clothes but doesn’t enjoy the grind of shopping. Nhien removes the friction. Whether it’s tailoring a look for work, curating something polished for a night out, or even pulling together casual fits that still look intentional, his touch elevates everything.
Even after moving out of state, he makes it seamless to shop with him. Nhien curates digital lookbooks for me, complete with sizes, notes, and styling tips. All I have to do is click, and the pieces land in my cart ready to go. It’s fashion made effortless, but never impersonal.

The customer service here is good. The value for the stuff is good too but they can get even cheaper with the red stickers and much cheaper with the final yellow stickers.
Great selection of clothes and furnitures.
They removed the other cashier line that used to be by the doorway on the other side by Kohl’s.
Also, they have clean restrooms!
Overall I had a great experience and would come back when I'm in the area.”
“I love Daiso, so this is a review for this location only and not the company as a whole. This location is smaller than most and while there was a wide range of products it felt less stocked than a typical Daiso. The low lighting made it difficult to read some packaging, I didn't find it to be very well lit in comparison to most retail stores like Target or DollarTree. Staff was less friendly than typical for Daiso, but they also seemed to be understaffed, so maybe I was just there on a bad day for them. Parking at this location is ample, there's a huge free lot, but you have to walk a ways to find the entrance and go to the store. I've been going to this shopping center for 5 years and only just discovered it was there, so it's not very obvious to find. The pricing is all listed in Yen, and they have charts to show you how they're converting it to US dollars for your purchase.”
“Nordstrom Rack on Marina Boulevard in San Leandro is one of our favorite places to shop for great deals. The store is clean, well organized, and offers a wide selection of clothing, shoes, accessories, and home items at discounted prices.
We often find quality brands at excellent prices, and the inventory changes frequently, making each visit feel like a treasure hunt. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the checkout process is usually quick and efficient.
If you're looking for designer brands and everyday essentials at a discount, this Nordstrom Rack is definitely worth a visit. ?️?”

“Nice variety of CG and civilian clothing, electronics, and household & hygiene items. Gas tends to be either a great deal, or more expensive than town because they only change their prices 1x week or every other week. (Sometimes it’s cheaper than Costco in San Leandro.) Also of note, propane is only $52 for a new tank, or $20 for a refill. About $20 cheaper for a new tank here than in town or Nob Hill or Home Depot. ATM is often out of service or cash, but there’s a SeaWest just off base that has a reliable ATM.”
“Flew into town with no luggage not expecting a long stay luckily this Ross dress for less was not far. Considering the amount of mixed aged Clothing- I was still able to come up with something the location is super convenient next to the beauty supply that has all of the accessories that they don’t I might make traveling without luggage a thing now. Thanks Ross in the photo we have a Tommy Hilfiger waterproof purse, a pair of red strappys found in the shoe section a urban nation jersey and a button down sports bra by pro fit seamless”

“Clean, comfortable, well run. Not a small feat considering generous 11 PM closing times (12 midnight this past holiday season). Prices are a bit high, but leavened by frequent door busters and clearance discounts. Staff once cheerfully went out of their way to help me find odd-sized boxes in the back of the store. This location stands out even in a well run suburb like Downtown Walnut Creek as a consistently enjoyable shopping experience. Among the very best of chain retail in 2026.”

“Thos store has alot of variety and usually has good name brand items from hair products, to cosmetics, soaps, lotions even clothes for men, women and children. They seem like they restock new items everyday so if you don't find something one day go the next and it might be there. The store is clean and organized, staff are nice.”

The store has that classic Ross vibe — racks full of different styles and plenty to browse through. If you take your time, you can often find really good deals hiding between the shelves ?.
It’s a fun stop if you enjoy the thrill of finding something unexpected for less. Casual, affordable, and always worth a quick look while passing through the area ?.”
“I’ve been shopping at this clothing chain for years and years, I say at least 30 years. They have them in quite a few locations. They have one Napa, Lafayette, Walnut Creek, and I do believe Moraga. They have a wide variety of clothes for men and women and children, this is fascinating for a small chain. They actually have a teenager department for girls and two sections of the women’s department, one for the very mature woman. They even have a shoe section with a very good variety. Also Jewelry and purses. I forgot to mention on the woman’s side, they have undergarments and sportswear.
It truly is amazing the variety of clothing and other things they have in these stores. And the prices are decent. Don’t miss out is my suggestion.”
“When this location this store was in Wichita about these items and and I still have them, and they're very much worth buying and paying off. I do miss the store. But I know it's not in wichita anymore , but I still miss it my first 3 items that I bought after my mom passed my first stove. My first toaster, in my first microwave, all worth it all at Sears.
