“The Bel Abri is a hidden gem. We’ve been multiple times, and it’s one of our favorites. The rooms are immaculate. Street level has secluded patios. There is wine tasting with charcuterie every evening, and made to order breakfast delivered to your room. The location is convenient, yet away from the hustle and bustle. The deep tubs are a great way to recover from exploring the area. I want to gatekeep this special place, but it’s too good to not share.”
“We stayed there for a weekend for our anniversary. The place is beautiful, in the middle of the vineyards and there are not a lot of rooms so it was very quiet. Our room was big, beautiful, the bathtub was spacious, it was very pleasant. The breakfast was really good as well, you have choice between several dishes that are homemade with fresh products.
We paid $1555 for 2 nights, which is not cheap, and it’s a price we were ready to pay for such a nice occasion, in a place that called itself luxury.
I just have a couple of things that I noticed and that are, according to me, not “luxury”:
- The Twinings tea bags for breakfast, it’s not really good tea, it feels cheap and I would have liked to have a selection of high end tea. There was one good tea that was coming from Asia but it would be better to have a consistent choice with just good tea.
- The jam in the small plastic container, this is the same jam you can find in motel breakfast or brunch place. It would have been nice to have homemade jam or jam from a fruits producer.
- When we arrived at the pool, there were no clean towels, the dirty towels were still in the basket and someone changed them 2 hours after we arrived. According to me, this is something that should be done before the opening of the pool. Same for the cleaning: there were spider webs on the wooden structure where there is the couch to relax.
- We stayed at the pool from 10am to 4pm, we just wanted to relax. We would have appreciated if someone would have come to us to ask if we were fine and if we wanted something to drink, like a juice. I don’t think it will cost a lot to the hotel to offer that and it’s something that elevate the experience and is more “luxury” service as we were expected from this place.
Sorry for the long review! In the end we were satisfied and enjoyed the experience and maybe I’m too picky but when you pay this price and when the place claim to be luxury then everything has to be perfect.
Rooms: Beautiful bedroom and very comfortable.”

“Included valet parking, free shuttle to downtown Napa (15 minutes walk away) included continental breakfast. Great suite with spacious high ceilings soft linens and nice staff. Definitely bring a date!”
“I enjoyed my stay at the Hawthorne suites. Everything was clean and stocked. Lovely free breakfast was provided. I was disappointed to see that the front desk empoyees were using the handicap parking by the front desk for thier own personal vehicle. That should be reserved for your handicap guest!”
“They opened up the Wine Valley Lodge to The Covid19 victims. It's been a really nice here, soft beds bathrooms are great quality, and cable TV! The pool is not open yet because they don't want people getting too close to each other because of the covid-19 social distancing same with the picnic area is designated to the Smokers”

“Overall the stay was very good. One night there was a trivia night on the 2nd floor outdoor patio that was very loud when we were trying to relax in our room. I feel our hotel room should be a place we can go and relax. But it went on for over an hour and was very annoying.”

“We had a 3 night stay early October. We were not made aware of the construction work going on before we arrived .
So we had to walk past a building site to go to breakfast, the bar or the gym. The swimming pool unfortunately was not open.
To be honest the construction work wasn't a big deal to us, just thought I would mention it to make other potential guests aware.
On arrival, the lovely Rodney on reception, surprised us with a room upgrade. The room was a fabulous suite, very impressive. A lovely touch with the Dyson hairdryer in the bathroom.
Staff were very helpful and polite. Room service excellent.
Had the construction not been going on, I would give this 5 stars, however, I am happy to recommend this hotel,”
“5 stars – Wonderful Stay for a Special Celebration!
We stayed at Hotel Indigo Napa during our first trip to Napa Valley to celebrate my husband’s birthday and experience a hot air balloon ride. The hospitality was truly wonderful — the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay.
A special thanks to Carina, who kindly helped me decorate the room for the birthday surprise. She made the process smooth and stress-free. The hotel was clean, stylish, and perfectly located for exploring the area.
It was a great experience overall, and I’d definitely recommend Hotel Indigo to anyone visiting Napa — especially if you’re planning something special!”

“Don't go in off season if you want to relax.Front desk was rude.No one told us the meritage was under construction when we called to make the reservation. We walked into the construction lobby as there was little to no visible sinage that we were supposed to go all the way across the street to the grand reserve. We were put in a room where our view was a broken down fenced off hottub and altgough it was fenced off with fake vines for the guests walking around. we could see the derelict state of the hottub from our balcony. After going all the way back to the grand reserve they moved us to another room all the while telling us that the second room is dbl the price, which seemed tacky to me. We then faced the ice rink which was neat. Till u realize the music pumps loudly (heard over tv inside)till 10pm.We were looking for a nice pampered getaway for a cpl nights. Since we were paying more than twice what we paid for tge norm hotels. I.e. holiday Inn etc, we hoped there would be something included. Aside from the clout of saying we went there NOTHING was included. The skating was $25usd pp. Which should be free for guests. As well as parkingNo breakfast, the grounds we all under construction and desolate. (We knew we were going in the off season, but this was absurd)I want to bring up a wonderful establishment in Canada called Sparkling Hills. 8 different types of sauna, infinity pool, cold and hot leg circuit pool and a beyond luxurious breakfast buffet all included with the price and with the Canadian exchange is actually cheaper than Napa. Oh did I mention sparkling hills is littered with beautiful Swarovski crystals, every room feels like luxury and I never felt treated like a vagrant. Which is exactly how I feel we were treated by the front desk lady upon checking in. Don't wanna call her out too much as it's a company training/hiring issueI will say Trey or Tray, from the valet service was very kind and probably one of the only ppl that didn't treat my partner and I like vagabonds.Rooms: Rooms were meh at meritage and nice at grand reserve.Nearby activities: Nothing to do without a cost unless you're walking or riding your own bike. Which isn't great in the wintery rain.Food & drinks: $19USD for 2 undercooked eggs potato and bacon (no toast) from olive & hay. Just flabbergasted at nothing included.Noteworthy details: We went for a 40th bday hurrah and we were soooooo disappointed in the experience.”

“Stayed here overnight in March 2025. Attended a show at Uptown Theatre just around the corner. Location was excellent, and I appreciate the option to stay in accommodations that aren’t a $350+ per night Victorian inn… friendly reception upon check in and check out. Heater kept the room warm. Bed was comfortable. I arrived later in the day so parking was limited in the hotel lot (small, first come first serve, maybe a dozen and change spaces (16?) but parking down the street was easy. It was the weekend but the public lot is free all day parking. Location is the best part, second best is the value.
Walkability: 10/10”
“Absolutely delightful experience!! So close to downtown Napa, beautiful place to stay, and the owners Joanne and Brian are just lovely. We really had a nice time and would love to go back!”
