“We stopped by here on a Tuesday at lunchtime after being directed here from Forest Plywood. Very helpful staff both behind the counter and in the lumber yard, running through several different options. Got what we needed and at a great price too.”
“I am updating my review after experiencing issues with my last two purchases. I have always bought my windows and doors from this company, but I believe the current younger staff is inexperienced. They are not well-trained in sales or window systems, which makes it difficult to trust their orders.
During my last visit, one of the young employees was taking an order and appeared very hesitant. He was not asking the right questions, and his customer was very uninformed about windows. Watching that process was frustrating. If the company hires staff to sell windows and doors, it is the owners' responsibility to provide proper training. Clearly, this training has not been adequately implemented.
As a construction professional myself, I know there are many important details to understand about window and door systems. I strongly recommend that staff be properly trained to ensure knowledgeable and confident service.
I initially rated this business with one star, but I am changing my review to four stars because the manager was very patient and helpful when dealing with my defective doors. She assisted me in resolving the issue after I was initially referred to the manufacturer, who was unhelpful. I appreciate her effort and professionalism.
That said, I believe the store still needs to prioritize better training for its staff. This issue reflects more on the company's ownership than on the store management. Overall, I would say that about 80% of my orders have been satisfactory.”
“Go here and no place else. Color matching paint in a spray can!! How great is that?!!. Tom is fantastic. My 68 Camaro was restored back in 1994. It had rally rims and I found a set of 14" rims in a junkyard to put back on. But the paint on the rims obviously didn't match my car. And the guy who painted my car somehow managed to not get the color correct and was a couple of shades gray lighter than blue. Teal Blue--1968. So i brought the car to Tom and after many trips back in the shop to add a drop of gold, red, or whatever color he needed to add; he got it done. He said he had never attempted to custom match on the spot, but I couldn't be happier. He nailed it. Thanks to Tom and Jeraulds for helping me.”
“Great! Tony was invaluable and came out (a couple times) to help figure out the part I needed for my car. I tried several other places, and nobody had their kind of inventory. Eternally grateful.”
“This is an amazing little shop…a hidden gem. Lots of homegrown brands, rare snacks and drinks, as well as a cool art supply shop. Do yourself a favor and check them out! It’s run by a group of solid individuals.”
“This review is for Ivana. We had a paint color expert consultation with her and she was wonderful. She listened to our needs and vision and was able to choose colors that were within our color palette. She also did wonderful renderings for us which helped make our final decision a lot easier. Thank you so much Ivana & Dunn Edwards team for your help!”
“Pell Mell is a highly organized, well devoloped machine. I have gone thereas a last ditch with some highly specialized, exotic hardware and they had it! Mostly their model is huge manufacturing orders so it 's hard for them to stop and grab three screws. Great guys though and very patient.”
