“I love that they have this great little old school hardware store in OB. I come to OB a couple of times a year to dog sit for my daughter’s pup (oh yes, and to visit her!) and there is always some little thing she needs, and I usually can find it here. This time I got her this bucket for her tools for her tiny little garden. She loves it. I always find an excuse to stop in, everyone there I have have come across is nice and helpful.”

“This Ace Hardware has a greeter and help desk counter as soon as one steps in the door. The nice lady asked me immediately what I was looking for and then told me what aisle it was in. Awesome, in and out quickly without having to walk the aisles aimlessly, so to speak, that is if one does not frequent the hardware store. Just to be clear, the store is well laid out with a great variety of goodies. Final word, a good neighborhood hardware and general home care store.”

“I just bought a place in Pacific Beach and found this hardware store. I’ve been there several times already and they’ve had everything I’ve needed. The staff is knowledgeable and there have always been several working in there at a time so getting help finding things is easy. They have quite a lot of floor space, the size is deceptive. I literally went in there today for a plumbing part, they took me to it, and I was in and out in less than five minutes. Try that in a big box store. And their pricing is actually quite reasonable.”
