“I’m so glad I booked a room at the Broad Street Inn during my first trip to Nevada City! Ron and Julie went above and beyond to make my stay easy and comfortable. As a partial wheelchair user, they thoughtfully gave me a downstairs room and helped me get to town when I had trouble finding an Uber. It was also wonderful to relax on the couches in the sunny backyard between activities. In addition the rooms are cozy and cute, with charming details. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the area! ?”

“Wow. Talk about customer service. I have been staying at Airbnb’s and hotels, including the racist Gold Miner’s Inn, and nothing comes close to the exceptional service provided here at the Northern Queen Inn. Vanessa always greets us with a smile and is always happy to meet my needs, unlike the other places in town. She makes you feel heard and meets your needs as a guest as much as possible. I don’t see customer service like hers anymore. Anywhere. Thank you for the good vibrations, I think the other receptionists here can take note of her work and learn from her lead. I hope you give this great listener and over-achiever a raise that she deserves as I have had attitude from the other girls, which is so unnecessary. And it goes to show you their privilege. She is the only reason I stay here at Northern Queen Inn and I hope the owners and her boss take note of her presence and how much her energy reciprocates into your business. “We've stated at the Outside Inn many times and each stay gets better and better. The rooms are neat and clean, the area is quiet and peacefully. The check in and out is simple. The Owners are the greatest. Each person has their expectations and my are simple neat clean rooms with a quiet atmosphere.
Safety: The area is well lit at night
Walkability: Thr historical district to Nevada City is a short walk from the hotel.”
