“I highly recommend Westlake Shoes (in the TJ Maxx shopping center on Thousand Oaks Blvd.) to both men and women. I can't say enough good things about this shop. I always have trouble finding comfortable shoes elsewhere, but when I walk into Westlake Shoes, I know that Ron or Tim will help me find exactly what I need. I remember Tim telling me a few months ago that when women are looking for shoes for a wedding that are both comfortable and stylish, they are always so happy they came to this store. So when my daughter got engaged, I went straight there as soon as I found my mother-of-the bride dress, confident that they would fit me in something that would dazzle, yet allow me to enjoy the night without pain! And sure enough, they did. I am so happy I came here for those shoes. They carry a wide variety of Naot shoes (made in Israel), as well as Ara shoes (so comfy!) and many, many other brands. Be careful when you buy, because they will only give a store credit for a return. But that's not an issue for me, since I am a frequent shoe buyer and they always have something I love. Please shop at Westlake Shoes! It's the only brick and mortar shoe store around for miles, and our community really needs them. Again, the customer service is amazing! And they are so knowledgeable about every aspect of their products.”

“Thank you to Lola, the awesome shoe sales rep who helped me decide to get my boots. I have wanted a particular type of boots for a little over 15 years now, but have never found the ones I want at a price I’m ok with.
These boots I found here (DSW Thousand Oaks), were a bit too expensive, even with a discount. The good thing for us is….Lola was around our area and caught my mistake in price calculation. She took out her calculator and deducted the correct percentage from original price.
An almost $200 + tag was cut down to less than half.
Leather, perfect condition, on sale. Left the store super happy, both my partner and I.

“I love Nordstrom Rack, I went looking for shoes, so I had to stay focused. I'm not impressed with today's styles and didn't find anything I liked. I'm looking for the perfect red pump, and from the color to the style, it seems like an impossible task. They did have some unique styles and almost threw me off, but I am hyper focused to find the right red pump, 2" heel, with a strap in back. Where are you?”
“I've been going to the simi town center for vans but recently changed to the oaks mall due to the sudden lack of service at the simi one. I used to love the vans in simi but the last few times I have been going they customer service has been awful! They greet me and then they just start talking and messing around with each other! The oaks vans always gives me a more warming experience definitely go to this one and not the simi one!”

“This was the first time I had visited any Champs store.. I had been looking for some sports clothing for my man and that’s why I walked in.. a very pleasant surprise! They had some unique items .. store looked very neat organized and funnily I noticed the were playing really good music in the store too! Since there aren’t many Black and White stores around anymore, I make it a point to stop by whenever I’m in the area. However, customer service is something I value highly, and unfortunately, this location doesn’t always meet expectations in that department. There’s a woman who I believe is the manager, and the way she speaks to the employees is often quite harsh and demanding. It creates an uncomfortable atmosphere, and honestly, it makes me hesitant to ask questions or engage too much because I worry it might lead to the staff getting reprimanded. It’s disappointing because the store has potential, but the overall experience could definitely be improved with a more respectful and customer-friendly environment.”
