I moved to Los Angeles 1.5 years ago and recently tried to find an ethical, knowledgeable, transparent auto body shop. I was very disappointed in the price gouging I came across at multiple body shops...criminal. Then I came across Edwin's Auto Body. I immediately knew this man was the real deal. A master of his craft, an artist with reasonable prices. I came to him with a very unique situation that involved a practically totaled rare muscle car that belonged to a woman with schizophrenia. He treated her and I respectfully, seriously, compassionate, and genuine. He's a safe decent human being and he recreated this car to showroom condition for a reasonable price. I cannot recommend him enough nor thank him enough for the manor in which he handled this delicate situation. He's excellent and a wonderful communicator. Don't waste your time bringing your car to these other shops. Edwin is a treasure and must be protected at all costs. He genuinely cares for his community. I recommend him to everyone i know.”

“Avo is extremely helpful and assured me that the electrical problem with my car would be fixed. Other electrical mechanics couldn't figure out what the problem with my car was but he did! Turns out my alternator was fried and was hardly putting out any power to give to the battery and other electrical components I had on the car. I brought my Ford ranger 2008 here after previously taking it over to different mechanics the previous mechanics charged me to replace a fuel pump that I had already replaced that didn't need replacing again. So I took my truck and brought it here. It turned out j never needed a new fuel pump my truck had a some cables making a bad connection wich they fixed at a reasonable price. “I own a 1969 Ford Mustang and for the past couple of years I have been going from mechanic shop to mechanic shop hoping to get the car in the best shape I could afford. I took the car to a well-known classic Mustang shop in the area and after $24,000 and almost a year of work, I have almost the same car I took in. To this day I have no idea what was done to my car, but I'll put it this way - Recently, I noticed the chewed up battery cables weren't even replaced. $24,000 and you couldn't replace one of the most basic cables?! I don't want this to be a review of these half-ass mechanics, but they took my money, which I paid without argument and gave me back a car that didn't look or feel any different. I spent the next few years still trying to resolve the issues the car had.
Recently, I called a friend of mine that highly recommended Steve. I crossed my fingers and hoped I finally found the guy. I'm thankful to say that I did. Steve is an incredible mechanic. Right off the bat he already knew the issue with the car. It was the Holly Carburetor all along. He explained what that carburetor was actually for and why it wasn't for a car that wanted to be driven on a daily basis. He gave me his recommendation and scheduled a time for me to stop by. I didn't ask price because I just wanted to get this issue resolved. But I knew it wasn't going to be the same ridiculous prices as the other shops.
Steve fixed the car with so much care and passion. The man really understands cars. He took the time to explain my car to me and not once did I feel he was rushing. All the others shops I went to treated me like an invoice. If I was one of those rich dudes they were used to milking then maybe they would've treated me better, but a school teacher wasn't high on that list.
Steve treated me and my car with respect, regardless of my pocketbook. He took care of my car, charged me an incredibly reasonable price and gained a customer for as long as I own cars.
