But DTLA made a great decision in making no drastic changes to people and operations.My multi-point inspection, oil change and brake job went well. Not only were there no surprises, I had purchased an oil change plan from Nick Alexander's, and DTLA had it online; thus no hassle in using it. My service bill was very reasonable for the great maintenance service. Also DTLA MINI provided a vehichle loaner for me.Last but not least, my service advisor, Ira Wyatt, was simply awesome!”

“This is the best place to take your BMW for repairs. Mine wouldn’t start so instead of having to take a tow truck to the shop, Max the repair tech came to my house and worked in the RAIN to replace my battery. He went out and bought the right battery and did the repair super quickly. They are so nice here and super professional, incredible prices especially compared to the BMW dealership - I saved hundreds of $$$ with them and would recommend to anyone”
“Cannot give these guys enough stars. I was told it would cost $2700 (scammers) by another shop near here and they charged me here $400. 3 days turnaround. Exceptional service. Good people. The video shows before and after. Not huge dents but enough that the paint crumpled.Paint matching was PERFECT and so was body matching. I hope they get a bigger shop soon. Good guys.”

“I wish I could give them 6 stars. I ended up buying some 22" rims for my Jokermobile on OfferUp that I thought were all black. Turns out that the guy had spray painted the lip without using primer, so when I got the tires changed, all the paint came off and exposed a bunch of curb rash as well. I did it know what to do. I hit up Affordable Wheel Repair after seeing some pics on Instagram showing the amazing work they do. They took care of me. In 1 day I went home with all the curb rash gone on all 4 wheels. All of them painted a nice flat black and looking like brand new wheels for under 180 bucks. They work on all kinds of cars too. I have seen BMWs and Mercedez-Benz's there next to the Toyotas and Fords. I was really excited until I saw that one of my tpms sensors was acting up. I went back. They were super friendly. They took care of me the same day, again! Turns out one of the sensor batteries had just died. It had nothing to do with the wheel repair. They were able to get me a new sensor, and reprogram it in the same day. Like I said, 6 star service. I will definitely go back to them any time I have anything wrong with one of my wheels.”

“I first came here to get an oil change for one of my cars. It was quick and affordable. I was also able to schedule it online, which I loved. However, what sold me on continuing my business here was something else. One of my other cars was taking a really long time to turn over. I was told the problem was the ignition switch by another mechanic but I was quoted for $1200. So I thought I might look around before getting it fixed. I asked Armando for a quote and again, he gave me a really reasonable price. I brought it in and Armando called me and told me that the battery was failing the test and that it may be the problem but he didn't know for sure. I told him to just replace the battery and call me back if he found anything else. He called me back and told me that changing the batter seemed to get the car starting just fine. He saves me a lot of time and money being so honest with me. He's really responsive and easy to talk to. He's also very honest and doesn't try to cheat you. This is now my go to place for repairs!”

“If you're wondering where to take your car for body and paint work, just do yourself a favor and stop looking, call Sam at Auto Worx, and feel at ease. I have been to several body/paint guys in my time in LA, both on the Westside and in the Valley. Whether it was my Prius or my Porsche, things happen and you get a scratch, a small dent, or rock chips in the paint. Whatever the situation, I would trust Sam with getting the job done right. He is one of the most trustworthy guys in the business. Shop owners all over could take lesson from Sam on friendliness, professionalism, and attention to detail. I spent a few days researching auto body/paint repair shops. I called some of my trusted repair people in the valley. Then Steve at BMW Haus in Van Nuys said, although Sam is on the Westside, "but I'd take my car to him no matter how far away he was." He was right. I'll never go anywhere else.”

“I needed to replace the upholstery on the driver's bucket seat of my 1966 Mustang. I requested a few quotes and Julio responded right away. I had already purchased the upholstery since it was custom (California Pony edition) and the hardware & padding. I brought everything to Julio along with the frame. I received a call the next day that my seat was ready. When I went to pick it up Julio also gave me back parts that he didn't use. I appreciate his honesty. The seat looks fantastic. I'm happy with it. I highly recommend Matus Auto Upholstery. Julio was professional and courteous. The price was very reasonable. The quality of the work was superb, and I appreciate that it was finished so quickly.”

“Amazing shop! La Auto is a great place, I brought my car in to do a quick oil change and they did it lightning fast with no problems. Also had them fix some glitches and bugs I had encountered in the electronics system. The guys really knew what they were doing and got that done too. I have a late model BMW and knowing how to work with it isn't always something any mechanic can do. I had a glitch with the infotainment system which needed special tools and knowledge which they had. Also their shop looks so neat and professional. I could see glimmers of shining new chrome tools tucked away in the drawers! These boys were amazing! 10/10 would absolutely recommend!”

If you're in the area and need something worked on with your vehicle, look no further than Big Boy's, because they will take care of you! Andy was awesome and went above and beyond to fix my wheel - when it became apparent that the roadside assistance service damaged one of the bolts, he called places to order the part and got it back together before the end of the day. The service was reasonably priced and the people were super nice. Will definitely be coming back!”

“April 2024: I took my vehicle to Carlos Brakes and Alignment, for an alignment, and the service was fantastic! I was provided with the alignment adjustment (see photo) and was able to see easily how much my vehicle was misaligned!!! The next day I took my vehicle back for the front brakes and was given lifetime warranty on parts and 3 months warranty on labor!!! I highly recommend this fine establishment for their great service AND extremely reasonable pricing. Thank you, Carlos, Christian, & Mom for your great service!!!”
“If there's 10 stars then I will put 10x100. I've lived in LA for 20 + years, but never been able to trust any mechanic until I met Gary this week. I went in for the smog check, but because his shop was busy, he had taken my car to his trusted mechanic who does the smog check. He charged me what the mechanic charged, he then told me what parts needed to be looked at. After all was done, Javier gave me a ride back to my place! I mean who does that!? There's a reason that he's been in business since 1973. You should ask the history of his shop - it's an incredible and inspiring story he'll share with you. Can't recommend highly enough!”
