“I came in here in a panic because I know absolutely nothing about cars. When I say these lads are the best, please believe me. I had a nail in my tire and some sort of flappy bit going on, and I was basically just standing there hoping for the best. They patched the tire up, sorted everything out, and somehow managed to make me feel like I’d gained a minor qualification in car maintenance by the time I left. I also learned that wheel locks are a thing. I had absolutely no idea. Thankfully, they knew exactly where to find mine, because apparently owning a car requires knowing about approximately 47 things I have never heard of. William did the work on my car and what a star. He was friendly, knowledgeable, fast and just genuinely lovely. The whole team was so welcoming and actually took the time to explain things to me rather than making me feel like an idiot for not knowing them. And then there’s Rudy. He didn’t even work on my car, but I love him anyway. Also, they give you free bananas. Yes, bananas. I did not expect to leave a tire shop with both a functioning tire and a piece of fruit, but here we are. I literally made an appointment because I had a nail in my tire and left with a fixed car, a banana, and significantly more knowledge than I arrived with. For the last couple weeks, I've been dealing with recurring issues that other mechanics could not pinpoint. John asked me to leave my car overnight so that he could properly diagnose the issue. I ended up needing to replace my alternator, belt, pulleys, and bearings. He did this job for me in a day and gave me a big labor discount. He thoroughly communicated all the issues and was very kind and honest throughout. Even when my alternator gave me battery issues a couple days later, John had me bring the car back and resolved the issue at no extra cost.
