After having my starter replaced on a 2006 Armada I definitely give Ivan props. This is a very tough engine since he had to literally take the whole thing apart to get to the starter. And best of all I did not need to get it towed it definitely another plus. Ivan also explained everything in detail.”

“Best call I have ever had with a mechanic. I called for quotes on a bunch of items. The guy DID NOT bullshit me at all. I've done the work on the items requested, so I know what's involved. His labor hours made complete sense and were fair. And their hourly rate was the best rate I could find for our civic. He also patiently spent time with me on the phone and DID NOT rush me off. He treated me like a human and fid not assume I didn't know what I was doing. 10 out of 10 would recommend considering this shop.”

“Luis, Juan, and Lino are fantastic. A few years back I suspected my old mechanic was ripping me off, so I started calling around. Quantum gave an honest quote, which is why I started going to them, but I found out there were way more reasons to keep coming back.Despite being incredibly busy, they always take the time to explain in detail what's going on with your car. Luis literally stopped to draw me a diagram earlier this week.They are 100% family owned/operated, and I'm not sure if this matters to whoever is reading this, but the general "vibe" in the garage is the best. If you drop by, you'll see what I mean. I've been sabotaging my car for years so I have an excuse to drop in.”

“I have been going to Grand Tire for over 10 years. Vic is completely trustworthy and if anything he tries to down-sell rather than upsell his services to save you money. I have taken maybe my last 7 cars there for servicing, tires, repairs, etc. Vic can handle pretty much anything you throw at him. One time Vic was on vacation and I had to go to a chain tire place for tire replacement for an unfixable flat. It was a nightmare customer-service-wise compared to Vic. Vic recently performed transmission and brake fluid changes at 60k. Doing it at a dealer would have cost twice the price if not more. Vic has changed brake pads on my cars numerous time. He's never said I need new rotors which can cost a decent amount. Instead he resurfaces them as needed. He did an AC repair a few years ago. And once Vic changed my worn out struts and shocks. My point is that Vic is more than oil changes and tires. He is an asset to the community!”
“I was in need of a O2 sensor and none of the local auto parts stores had the sensor in stock. I call Padco Auto Parts and they had the right part for my 2017 Mustang GT. In addition, they have great customer service and very knowledgeable of parts. I recommend Padco to all of my friends and family.”

“This is the only place for transmission work! I have been dealing with this shop for years and when my transmission started slipping, I had it towed over to Leon's with no hesitation. Chris was honest and straight to the point and the final price was what he quoted originally. He called with updates, tolerated and answered all my questions. He didn't try to upsell anything, even when i asked about upgrades he explained why it wasn't necessary to spend more money on more expensive parts. We need more shops run like this in SCV. “I'm trying to save an old van that was stolen and crashed after having most of the parts of the engine removed and replaced by Mobile mechanics there was still a lot of work to be done. I decided to try atco. I went there and all of his days were busy his parking lot was full and there were even cars parked on the street that he was working on. This place is busy because they are good! It took me almost 2 weeks to get in and the things he fixed he fixed perfectly. I'm in love with bob, the owner, who is very reasonable and not afraid of work and all his employees are busy and talented. I highly recommend this place. Good work reasonable fees, and they know what they're doing”
