“I am so pleased to know that my pets are well cared for by Dr Turna and his staff.
We have two dogs, a lovable Shih-Tzu (Max) and a goofy Golden Doodle (Indie) both are senior dogs. The staff in the front always greets us and our dogs when we arrive. Our Shih-Tzu is a little bundle of nerves, but the front desk staff is gentle, and they comfort him. He genuinely likes them. We had a poor experience with another local vet regarding Max’s teeth. Max had an abcess on a back tooth that was causing pus to leak from his face, close to his eye. Instead of removing the tooth, the other vet would only prescribe antibiotics and told us that dental work on small dogs is “scary”. We changed to Dr Turna, who immediately diagnosed the problem and scheduled a cleaning plus extraction. Dr Turna not only treated Max, he explained to us why doggie dental care is so important to Max’s health. He answered all of our questions, and helped us to feel at ease about the procedure.
Our Golden was having issues with frequently needing to go out to relieve herself and she even had a few (small) accidents in the house. Dr Turna examined her, and did a few inexpensive, non-invasive tests to rule out serious diseases, and then recommended adjusting her diet to a kidney-friendly food. This greatly improved the situation and completely eliminated the night time accidents.
Dr Turna is a great vet, a true advocate for animals and a very kind man. I highly recommend his practice for those seeking complete and compassionate care for their furry companions.”
