“Did you know that Citibank does free notary if you have an account with them? I recently experienced exceptional customer service at Citibank's Fruitvale branch in Oakland. Maria Martinez is the manager and she and her staff are very professional and courteous. This location is at the Fruitvale BART transit center. Se hable Español.”

“I am not a customer of Citibank but had a check from a Citibank customer from another branch. The help from the staff in cashing the check I brought in was comfortable and friendly. Required some additional ID and approval from the branch manager. All in all, the lack of waiting time, the helpful staff and perhaps most of all the excellent customer parking made this a excellent bank experience. The Laurel District is notorious for difficult parking. Good example is the Bank of America across the street. Very difficult to find a spot, or the need to feed the meter when trying to use that branch. Very nice that the busy Laurel District has two full service bank locations.”

“This is going to be a touching review. Long story short, I'm trans male, transitioned in my 30s, moved to SoCal to do so and decided to come back home a few weeks ago to the more accepting and less polluted Bay. I'd closed my Citibank account four years ago due to both lack of locations in SoCal, and my ex-wife having my account information and seeing debits from her two months after I left her and the area, which is no fault of Citibank's (the location problem out there is, though) Anyway, Bank of the West is very convenient out there, but INTENSELY inconvenient out here. Staff had always been nice to me at this location, to the point they entertained my attempts to acquire Cantonese as my fifth language. I'm mixed and 'vaguely ethnic" looking, to steal phrasing from The Colbert Report, and with that as well, and my Japanese name, as there aren't many people with Japanese full names in Oakland (just last names, and thank internment for everything related to lack of Japanese-speaking community in Oakland) I was memorable. I knew they'd remember me, even if I don't look anything like I did before. And honestly, I was a bit unsure of how it would go. Traditionally, China had more than two genders, but in the mainland, Mao was very homophobic, and Hong Kong was ruled by Britain, the colonies being the inventors of queerphobia. So it can vary, just like with, say, white Americans. My legal name is yet unchanged, and I don't want to pretend to be a stranger if I can help it anyway. When I told the head of the bank who I was, he said "wow! You look different!" WITH A SMILE. I said that I feel better now. He was glad to have me back, and decided to chat with me while I waited for the person who would help me open an account. We talked about Chinatowns throughout CA and other small-talk things. The woman who opened my account was respectful of my new name, and everyone was just so accepting. I mean, it's as it should be, but it's just not often that way for people subject to so much oppression and alienation. I definitely made the right decision, and am glad to be back with Citibank Chinatown. P.S., the security guard was surprised when I told him the phone store next door used to be a treasure trove of a video store. Still sad about that.”

“Great associates. People in line get mad a lot! I've seen clients yell at associates for d*** reasons. The only reason I wouldn't return would be based off how I see some of the entitled feeling clients treat the workers like they're not human beings.”

“There are always washers available when I come to this location, they are fast & efficient. I’ve never had any of my clothes smell bad from a dirty washer or anything. 10/10. Decent prices, always triple the time in the dryer at a laundromat or your clothes WILL BE WET. I learned that the difficult way!”

“Ooof! I came here on a Saturday because all the other locations around me were closed and wow, I've never seen such a long line to get into a bank before. The good news is they are fast and efficient at this location so it goes by super fast. There are also two security guards at the door so I definitely feel safe coming here. Only reason this location doesn't have five stars is because of the parking situation. They really have limited parking in the lot. Other than that, I'm happy to go to this location. Thank you!! :)”

“The spot is cool. It has a lot more than expected plus EBT friendly. One thing that stood out the most was its customer service. One man stood out overall. I think he said his name was Yusif from New York. He went above what I expected.. I was a little depressed due to my girl leaving me and losing my job, he could tell something was up.. I asked if they took EBT and he said "of course, get your food bro." I grabbed a few things and then we started to talk. He told me things would get better if I stayed positive and have faith. We hear it all the time but it hit different when he said it. He actually cared.. he told me about his family, him moving from New York, and his dog.. really good man. Because of that encounter, I walk the extra block to that store. That place is a rose in the ghetto.. Yusif really keeps that place in shape and a good spot to have.”

“It’s located in the corner of Broadway and pleasant valley which in heavy traffic can be tedious to get to but it is easy to find. I had no issue withdrawing 1000 cash. There is a small parking lot in front of the atm. Been here multiple times with no isssues.”

“If you're a Bank of America customer, this is and ideally located ATM. After you clear TSA security for Terminal B, as you head up the stairs, this B of A ATM is right there at the top of the stairs. Could not be easier to find. You can use it before you then wander off to your gate. You don't have to search all over the airport to find it.”

“The fact that I don't even need a debit card to buy Bitcoin is incredibly convenient. It simplifies the process and removes another layer of complexity from the transaction. I am impressed with the user-friendly services.”

“This is my go-to for parking when I'm headed to Jack London Square. Don't want to give my secret away, but just want to give a shout out to the business. If you take the ferry to SF, get your ferry ticket validated for free parking at this parking lot. I was surprised and VERY DELIGHTED that this whole setup even existed. THANK YOU WHOEVER SET THIS UP FOR US REGULAR PEOPLE! Here's som info from the Ferry website - sanfranciscobayferry.com…"Riders receive up to 12 hours of free validated parking in the garage at 101 Washington Street near the ferry terminal. Riders will be charged for any time over 12 hours. Validate parking tickets at the ferry terminal. (Note: There is no overnight parking permitted.)Also, I think this parking lot has improved operations a lot over the past few years (gates and ticket machines were always 1/2 broken in the past). I don't use this facility often, but the times that I've been - the place looked pretty clean. I also saw a security person on patrol, but I'm not sure if that's still a service they provide.”

“We had an appointment on Monday August 38, 2023, with Mrs. Pamela Keller, she went above and beyond to make us welcome. Her personable and professional presentation let me know why she has been a 40 year asset to Wells Fargo. She was instrumental in getting an account matter, updated and squared away, I can't say enough nice things about her ability to work with the public, she is a real gem. Joyce M. Van Hook.”
