“If I could give these folks ten stars, I would! Before Covid my wife and I went here to buy office chairs. We are seniors with a lot of back and body issues so we knew this would be a challenging process. We had been to some other places but they tried to sell us on stuff that would not work for us, could not answer our questions and rushed us. What a totally opposite experience at Blaisdells! We were waited on by Adrienne Quitugua-Hervin and she gave us some of the best customer service we have ever experienced in any type of business. They had a great selection, but even more important was how knowledgeable Adrienne was and how patient she was with us. She was very familiar with all the chairs and gave us all the time we needed to check them out thoroughly. Part of my business is training people on customer service and Adrienne checked off all of the boxes of an award winning customer service representative of this company! She could train a lot of people in customer service! We bought chairs (at very reasonable prices) that needed to be customized a bit and then Covid hit. Being at very high risk, we did not have any deliveries inside of our house. Blaisdells understood our concerns and never pressured us to get the chairs. Eventually we had them delivered and put together on our porch where Adrienne helped set them up and showed us how everything worked. Even the delivery people were as polite and nice as could be! This is a big company that exemplifies the best of a small family business. My only complaint is that they don't sell every type of product we need!”

The person who works the afternoon shifts is not very friendly. My wife called at 5 p.m. requesting 8 color prints, and he said it would be ready by 11am next day.
I was already driving, so I tried in person, and he got the prints in like 1 minute. It’s the second time I get the same person. He is not attentive and does the bare minimum.”

Nothing has equalied the incredible quality of the prints I have received from Candela. I prepare files for printing in Photoshop and/or Lightroom, and my Windows system is color-managed with monitor profiling. When Candela does a proof print, I am always delighted at how well it matches what I'm seeing on my monitor. The ordering proess is simple and straightforward, and I like that Candela will drop-ship prints directly to my clients. Candela is 5-stars for sure!”

I'm absolutely willing to wait here, because compared to Piedmont Systems, the official post office a few blocks down is a circus. I've even bought a few cute masks and greeting cards from local artists that Ann has displayed on the counter.Not only do I feel better supporting a local business, but I've felt more safe here during the pandemic despite the small space thanks to the responsible mask use here and the limits on customers waiting inside and outside.
