“Good enough mini-mart to stop in. We needed a restroom and some snacks on a long trip. Bathroom was fine. At first I appreciated that they had some hot-foods like cup noodles but their hot water dispenser said out of order, which wasn't that helpful. Parking was easy, and the store is stuck to a McDonalds so you can walk through from one to the other easily. Good selection of snacks, drinks and coffee. I'd stop here again.”

“It looks a little shady from outside but this place is a landmark in Grover Beach. We call it the RC Cola place. If you look up at the building you will see an antique sign RC Cola that has never been replaced even during renovation. Friendly - clean - well stocked and right off Grand on 4th.”
“They sell my favorite MMC mango rim paste and the Mexican candy they sell is super good! The guy I was chatting with was super nice and friendly. We talked about alcohol and he has some great recommendations! He recommended the Wall Street candy Chamoy Melons and it was a game changer! The staff is very helpful and the store is very clean and welcoming! Definitely will be back!”

“Transferred from another pharmacy that is closing stores. I’m very impressed by the CVS app and integration of app and store in filling prescriptions. The store pharmacy is very busy but the staff handle refill pickup smoothly, pleasantly and effectively. I’m glad to have CVS as my provider. Love the fully stocked store!”
“We had to get gas as always. It's TurkeyDay 2023 today & I want to give a shout-out to the cashier Luke who's having to work but still maintained a good attitude when we made a mess with the coffee by accidentally overfilling a cup.He was saying don't worry about it while I was trying to clean it up.He hopes he gets OT since it is his regular shift & still is cool with customers - he made a few suggestions even when he knew I was also looking for a snack.I'm old enough to know having a good attitude with customers is how you go far in this life.(oh, and the coffee was good too)?????”

Aslo one Time I was short during the early pandemic n I was buying TP and emergency food for.my first apartment... I was like 1.30 short but the guy gave it to me for free n I was able to pocket the money... that's the kind of stuff we need more of. God bless ?”

“My go to gas station. New pumping equipment looks nice and cleaner. Prices varies are reasonable. I always pay cash so I get the lowest amount per gallon. Credit card will be the last resort. Friendly cashiers. Downside for me is just that it's hard to enter or exit from it sometimes.. I recommend wait for a few hours to get gas to avoid traffic so if you have the same issue as me it wouldn't be a problem.”

“I usually love going in here and speaking to the guy who owns the place… In the mornings. He also has another employee that I really like there as well. The problem that I’ve had numerous times is the woman who works there. She has black long hair, xtra large, “just got out of prison” sort of look…. If she’s not throwing your bag at you after asking you if you need a bag, and rudely dismissing simple questions… She’s barking at you to get out of her way when you’re simply standing in an aisle.
I feel bad for the owner since he is a nice guy, and she’s ruining his business and the small town feel for the place.
Tonight I went to make a purchase, and when I was waiting at the register as she was taking out the garbage… She seemed as though she was extremely winded which I could definitely understand.
But when she started rudely barking, “EXCUSE ME!!” at me because I was simply standing in an aisle and she wanted to eventually walk where I was when she eventually stepped foot in the store… Then I apologize with a bit of an attitude, and she snapped back with an attitude that it was “OK.
I walked out without making my purchase.
Tried to call to call her at the store tonight to discuss the issue, and she hasn’t answered the phone at all for at least a half hour. I know, moving can be very hard for some … and I’m sure that’s what she’s currently experiencing.
Unfortunately, one bad employee will ruin it for business… Hopefully that won’t happen to this guy. My husband and family aren’t coming back though… And we are in law enforcement, so… That does mean that she’s going to have a lot less protection with our absence… especially since these stores are one of the most dangerous paces to work in the US… . Their loss I guess.”
“I come here once in a while because they have stuff that the donut shop down the street doesn't have, such as the other flavor of my favorite energy drinks and my favorite snacks. However, it's a bit more expensive than the donut shop, but overall, it has good service and a friendly cashier. The location is pretty clean and organized.”

“Had to go to Rite Aid to pick up prescription. Needed to sit and wait 20 minutes. The staff was very friendly and my prescriptions were filled in a timely manner. While waiting.. I noticed how unclean the waiting area of the pharmacy Was. Thinking they might be shorthanded with janitorial help, looks like it hasn't been Attended.
To in quite some time. Also stopped at the front of the store to purchase a few other items. Clerk staff very welcoming.”

“What I think is that customers should come in and see for themselves. Everyone had a chance to stay some choose not to. Some did not want to confirm with new rules. The owners are a nice young couple who are trying their best. They have brought in new merchandise and the store is spotless. I have worked here for 5 years and we do our best to please all people. I know if you come to me with a problem I try my best to solve it. I am one of the morning shift and would be glad to meet you.”
“Convenience stores creep me out and as a rule, I do not go to them. We do go to this one for a certain type of soda and beef jerky that they carry. Always very nice people and they treat us (and our dog!) as if we are special to them. I appreciate that. Also-- it is clean and smells nice in there as well.”

“I went in to fill a prescription immediately after leaving the doctors across the parking lot. It was a day after News Year Day and they were very busy. It took about 45 minutes. Considering how long it took for the doctors office to send the prescription and then to get the insurance approval. Add to it the time to fill the prescription on a busy day, I was very happy. Considering the line at the pharmacy all the employees were very kind and helpful.”

“Avila Beach Market has all the basic food items you might need, but expect a steep markup. Downstairs they’ve got a spot that serves açaí bowls, which are refreshing on a hot day. I got the açaí base with strawberries, granola, and banana. It was good.
If you’re in a pinch and need something in Avila, it’ll do the job.”

“This is NOT Jaybird, my name is Jme the owner of this ph i went into ur store in search of Hexol i actually believed i had previous ordered it online & my daughter picked it up 4 me. It is used as a household cleaner & females can use it as a cleaner also. Their employee Kiki helped me & was able to direct me to the Hardware store across the street then it hit me that i DID in fact order it & picked it up from that hardware store but i did buy the cutest daisy Romper from CVS!!! Shout out to their employee thou!!”
