The United States Postal Service located at 1895 Avenida Del Oro is a busy and versatile post office that offers a range of services to customers. It is part of the USPS, which delivers mail and packages to every residential and business address across the country, managing over 30,000 retail locations and handling a significant portion of the world’s mail. This location provides services such as mailing, PO boxes with 24-hour access, indoor drop-off, and self-service machines, making it convenient for customers, especially during busy times. The post office also has a passport office that offers walk-in services. While appointments are not always necessary, it is recommended to make one due to the high volume of customers. Staff members like Don and Paul are praised for their helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable assistance, especially for passport applications. Customers appreciate the quick processing once inside, though some note that the office can be very busy, requiring patience. However, there are some issues, such as the locking of outdoor blue drop boxes and delays in installing a master key lock for a vandalized mailbox, which has caused delays in mail delivery. Overall, the post office is seen as a reliable place for mailing needs, with attentive staff and a variety of services, but it can be busy and sometimes face operational delays.

Awesome passport office. You don’t need an appointment but this office is very busy and you need patience. Once I got in things moved quick thanks to Paul and Don’s tag team approach.

I came in yesterday for a passport without an appointment. I waited a little while, and Don took me as a walk in. Without his help I would not have been able to make my trip. Thanks Don!!!
