About United States Postal Service

The United States Postal Service (USPS) at 1126 N Mountain Ave offers a convenient alternative to larger post office locations, with ample parking and quick service. Customers appreciate the helpful assistance provided by the staff, making visits generally pleasant and efficient. Many reviews highlight positive experiences with the employees, particularly one named Violet, who is noted for her kindness. However, there are mixed feelings about her professionalism, especially on difficult days, prompting some customers to suggest switching clerks when she appears annoyed. Despite the generally favorable atmosphere, some long-time customers express dissatisfaction with recent changes. Issues include reduced service hours, specifically the closure on Saturdays, which has caused inconvenience for those unable to visit during the week. Additionally, the cost of renting a mailbox has increased, leaving some customers feeling frustrated. Overall, while this post office has its strengths, it also faces challenges that have affected its loyal customer base over the years.
