The shop is accessible through the consignment antique shop next door (you’ll wind through the antique store to find the jewelry corner). Smaller than I expected, but they had a good selection.”

“I met Woody and his mom MANY years ago at an antique show in San Francisco. I have bought many Heywood Wakefield Pieces from him over the years, but never got around to getting over to his store in Orange to find a Heywood Wakefield dining room set. Until earlier this year. I found a buffet at a store here in Phoenix so it was finally time to round up an entire dining room set. We did it all over the phone sending pictures back and forth. And he delivered the refinished table (with leaves), 6 chairs, and smaller buffet with display cabinet to me in April. The set of my dreams! He had me send him a shelf from the buffet I already had and he matched all the other pieces to it perfectly. And the reupholstery on the chairs was 5 star! I am so glad to finally have this set and so happy I was able to get it from Woody. My only regret is I was never able to make it to Orange to see his store front before he closed it this Spring. If you want Heywood Wakefield, source it through Woody. He is the best!”

“Loretta, with Bloom Home Inc., will help you to transform your house. I know she has changed my home with many beautiful pieces of French furniture. I also was lucky enough to buy antique chandeliers she bought from France. She’s made flower arrangements for two urns I bought from her with beautiful white flowers. One urn is on my dining room table and the other urn is next to my free standing tub. I ve had her recover French chairs I owned, and sew white linen curtain panels for my 4 poster bed. I also have purchased many large and beautiful French mirrors from Bloom Home. She’s redone my sunroom in Florida with her linen fabric and sewed pillows for the wicker chairs and couch. She also carries high quality bedding. If you can dream it, Loretta can produce it. She doesn’t disappoint you. I highly recommend her to help you redo your house.”

“Dan has the most amazing collection of Sci-Fi and fantasy books and memorabilia I have ever seen, and that comes from a total Sci-Fi nerd. Great business hours, too! If you're looking for a current or obscure genre book, chances are he has it in stock. Some famous writers also frequent this amazing shop as well. When I'm here, I almost always stumble across a rare book I haven't read! The selection is simply second to none. Dan is also a fan of the genre and can discuss any book or author! I always make a point to stop in when I'm in the OC! 10/10 would recommend.”

“In July 2024 I started looking for someone to restore our 1950s Coke machine, every place I had call was no longer in business or never return my phone call until I found (Just for Fun ) on the Internet, they're in Orange County California. I called and talked with Alicia about restoring our Coke machine. She asked if we could bring it in to give us an estimate. My wife and I drove to their shop and met Alicia and Bill. They were very nice and professional, we agreed on a price and she asked when we would like it to be done. I told her we were celebrating our 60th anniversary in July 2024 she said they would try to have it done by then and they did not disappoint us two days before our anniversary Her & Bill delivered our new/old Coke machine to our home. They showed us all of the receipts they had for work that had to be done by other professionals and any new parts they bought they kept us up-to-date with pictures letting us know how things were going. We have had this Coke machine for many years and my wife and I are very happy and please with their work and how they worked with us and we will highly recommend them for anyone needing anything restored thank you Alicia & Bill Jim and Shirley R”

“Nice place for a bike ride. Be aware there is limited parking and if you park in front someone house you might end up with a free car wash hose style. Apparently the city has implemented permit parking on most streets. The signs are confusing and its apparent the neighborhood is unhappy about all the foot traffic. I believe there may parking designated parking so do your research on whereabouts. Many Resturants to choose from. Fyi...that recycled water on a hot day makes for some pretty awesome water spots. Also was told from the hose lady the city tickets vehicles.”
