“If you do DIY projects every so often but don't want to spend a ton on tools or supplies, Harbor Freight is the best option.
This particular location is always well stocked and very easy to find items. If you need help, every associate I have spoken to is extremely helpful and friendly.
The store is kept neat and tidy and everything is clearly marked, which makes finding stuff very convenient.
If you do plan on buying items, definitely look at their online mailer. The coupons they offer make the inexpensive tools and supplies even cheaper, which is crazy!
As I said earlier, if you are the occasional DIY'er, the quality of the tools and supplies will be more than sufficient to use. It might not be the highest quality but for the majority of novice and intermediate users, you really can't go wrong with any of their products. And for the price, I'll skip the name brands and go with Harbor Freight.”

After struggling to get the hang of sharpening my hand planes, I decided to just take a 1on1 lesson and was paired with David Tilman. David has more knowledge about sharpening and planes than I’ll ever be able to fully pick up, but I left my class happy, plane sharpened and ready to cut some wood. Cannot recommend enough.”
