“Rick's is my current go-to shop here at home on the central coast; they do excellent work and can somehow, miraculously find parts for my beloved fleet of post-smog, pre-OBD-II (1976-1995) cars, whereas many shops simply chase me off with a broom as soon as I pull up. (but I've also been happy with work they've done done on newer cars). Prices are fair for the very high-quality of service and expertise they provide.”

“Jaeckels treated me like family every step of the way. After the HEMI engine in my 2017 Ram 1500 failed, they helped me secure a replacement engine directly from Chrysler that came with a three-year warranty.
The price for both the engine and labor was very reasonable, and the entire process was handled professionally from start to finish. After the truck was back on the road, I experienced a minor sensor issue. They addressed the problem immediately and made sure everything was working properly.

“We put a request in on Yelp, and got 3 replies, $1100, $985, and a message that that included recalibrating my windshield camera, then Jose from Auto Glass Experts SLO came in with a $445 quote. I immediately asked about the camera recalibration, and he replied, they rarely need to be recalibrated, but if it does, I’ll come back and recalibrate it for $355. Well, that puts me ahead in either case, so I booked an appointment. Jose’s communication was quick and to the point, and he showed up on time, and had the job done in less than an hour, and guess what, no calibration needed. Thanks Jose you saved me $545-$655 and my new windshield is perfect!!!”
