“The Countertops Contractors Ranking team is proud to recognize Modello Tile and Stone as one of the leading companies in the United States in the 2024–2025 national ranking of stone countertop fabricators and installers. According to our evaluation, the company earned the #20 position in California and the #1 position in Antioch, highlighting its strong standing in the local market. During our mystery-shopper research, Modello Tile and Stone demonstrated solid customer service and professional consultations. While quote turnaround times were somewhat longer than average, the company offers a wide selection of materials, including granite, quartz, and marble, giving homeowners flexibility when planning their projects. In terms of pricing, we rate the price level of Modello Tile and Stone as Low compared to other top-performing companies in the region. The company requires a 50% upfront payment, which is standard for the industry, and typically completes fabrication in about 10 days, a timeline we rate as very fast. Overall, in the opinion of the Countertops Contractors Ranking team, Modello Tile and Stone is a reliable and competitive choice for homeowners seeking quality stone countertop fabrication and installation services in California and beyond. Sincerely, The Countertops Contractors Team”

“The house had four bedrooms but only one shower upstairs. With teenagers, that was becoming a daily problem. We took part of an oversized closet and used it to create another bathroom with a shower, then reworked the hallway bathroom so it wasn’t so cramped. Not the glamorous type of remodel people post before-and-afters of, but probably the most useful thing we’ve done to this house.”

“My wife and I have a small kitchen and were always struggling with the space. It has a sudo dining space that is also the pathway to the garage and fireplace area. We originally had a dining table there, but it just felt awkward and we were always really tight on storage. We finally decided it was time to figure out the space. We knew we wanted an island, some additional overhead cabinets, and a dry bar. Initially, we brought our plans to Home Depot to see if it was possible, but ultimately were not able to find anything that would match our existing cabinet color. We loved our cabinets and didn't see the point in replacing or painting them to match new ones. Home Depot was able to confirm the space for us and make some plans, but they did charge a one-time fee to get the process started. If we continued with them, that fee would have gone to paying for the cabinets but if you're stubborn like us then you're SOL. Anyway, we eventually stumbled upon Elegant Stone & Cabinets. They have great reviews and we see something on their website that looks like it might be close to what we are looking for. They responded quickly to our email to let us know that they had that cabinet in their show room and were welcome to come take a look. We knew it would probably be a long shot and Elegant Stone even told us it wasn't an exact match, but we took one of our cabinet doors off, drove it over and sure enough it was not exact, but it was pretty darn close, actually the closest we'd seen yet (and we'd seen a ton). We ended up working with Brigitte and she helped us with all of the details. We were even able to match our granite and cabinet hardware. There was no fee for plans and the quote was comparable to the others we received for the project. Brigitte made sure to cover everything, like how the cabinets would look at different dimensions, molding or flush mount, hardware suggestions, countertop overhang supports, outlet locations, existing trim - If you can't tell by now, we were impressed all the way through the process. The installers were professional and efficient, quick to ask questions for our preference on placement and all the little install details. Everything came out great, quality materials and quality staff. And the most important part, my wife is happy :P”

“Thames Construction worked with Lynn at LP Designs on a recent bathroom remodel in San Ramon and appreciated her design vision on the project. Her drawings were clear and translated well into construction. From a construction standpoint, working with a designer who brings a strong design aesthetic and thoughtful material selections is critical to a successful outcome, and Lynn delivered a well-executed design. We’d be happy to collaborate again and would recommend LP Designs to anyone looking for a designer with a refined eye for finishes and overall design.”

“My bathroom was just finished and I could not be any happier....... Way beyond expectations....... From my first visit to the showroom, meeting Brittany and how she actually showed interest and listened to what I liked and wanted to helping me pick out the material and style and explain the differences between regular cultured marble and granite cultured marble to the size of the shower pan .......... Then, how it would all be done and the cost, itemized line by line.............Dan, the man who did the work,,, No words can describe his attention to detail and the incredible job he did and the care he showed and always asking me if I was happy with what was being done........... I was thrilled........ Brittany and Dan thank you so much ......... Personally, after thinking about doing my bathroom for over 15 years, I am so glad I wanted until I found someone I could trust, a fair price and not worry about the quality of the workmanship. I looked at tile, marble, quartz you name it but cultured marble is the easiest to care for, less expensive to install and looks amazing.............I can not say enough but if you are looking to redo your bathroom, you owe it to yourself to at least go out to this business and see for yourself before you decide............finished Aug, 5, 2022.DaveDave”

“When I decided to get new kitchen countertops, I got a estimates for both the cost and time involved. As well as promising quick turnaround time (one day), Ran Valdez Stone gave me the lowest price. The workers were prompt, skilled, and tidy. I'm delighted with the result. If I could have given the company ten stars, I would have.”

“I recently updated our laundry room. One of the final touches was a quartz countertop for the sink cabinet. As the cabinet was only 42" my original plan was to have them use a leftover piece of quartz to fabricate the top to my measurements and install it myself. Eva was very helpful when I stopped by the showroom on two occasions. When the room was ready for the countertop I realized it would be much better to just buy a whole piece and let JQ do the measure and install. I am happy that I did! I had them use some of the leftover for a top on a wire shelving unit. The installer who came out did a stellar job. Very happy! IN 2018 JQ supplied cabinets and installed the countertops for a kitchen update that I did before selling my home. They are still doing quality work at affordable prices.”

“I'd give her more stars I I could. Wendy and her entire team are Great. She gives you a full set of blue print plans that you can hand over to any contractor. She thinks of EVERY little detail and her measurements are perfect. She knows what's in and what's not, and he knows how to maximize space. We wanted an island and I thought it could be squeezed into the kitchen. After review the space, we realized it just wasn't possible. I felt much better going through the measurements to understand that! It showed me that she really knows how to build spaces, that work! Her team is fabulous and they are very helpful and responsive. Can't say enough about her and the team. I would recommend them to anyone, and I've referred many already. We would use her for any project going forward. She's busy and it takes a while to get on her schedule but it's worth it! Being busy shows that she's good!”

“I had Cascade Cabinets make all of the cabinets for my kitchen remodel and a huge corner cabinet for my family room. That was 17 years ago and my cabinets still look incredible. Great quality and craftsmanship. I much prefer custom cabinets over ready made. No fillers and a exact fit. The owner at that time was Bob. ( I'm not sure if he's still the owner)”
