“I really like Dr Pan. He is very kind and knowledgeable and I feel like he really listens to my concerns. I never feel rushed when I take my kitty to see him (and I’ve been taking him a lot since Dec 2023 bc he is battling FIP).The reception staff is friendly.My only issue is that there seems to be long wait times even when you’re in the exam room . This clinic seems very busy so I wonder if there’s a staff shortage (or maybe bc the doctors talk thoroughly to each client as I mentioned above). I’m usually there at least 2 hrs. I think I’ve only been out of there within the hr one time”

I called this location, because my regular vet was closed, immediately after my dog got an eye injury during a routine grooming appointment and the staff here was super friendly, attentive, efficient and transparent. “On a Sunday I had to get my dog to an urgent care vet that had a vet working on a Sunday (not easy to find ) They have the option to put you on a wait list, where they text you when to arrive. I think that's brilliant. I still had to wait a bit - but at least I was able to get in. Dr Perez was GREAT. Everyone was so helpful, compassionate and very very professional. “We had a really great experience here and are very thankful. We had recently adopted a (very friendly) stray who had been on our street for a few months. He got in a bad fight and had an infection. We rushed him to Sherman Oaks Vet Group and they were able to get him in right away. Dr. Goss did a lot of work on him including a neuter. They cleaned him up with a cute lion cut. He is feeling much better and on the road to recovery. Dr. Goss is so good with pets and the owners. We are so grateful and our kitty thanks you! He is full-time indoor now and so happy and safe.”

“I have been to many different vets in my life, but I can say truly that this is the best.Dr. Steve is so amazing. My Pepper had loved him when she was alive.Basil and Pickles adore him. He is so sweet to them. Pickles is an anxious girl and nervous at first with men. She only screeches with glee for me, grandpa, and her aunt. It was only the second time she met him when she immediately screeched louder than ever. He has a care that is truly wonderful. Basil gets excited for the vet with him and the wonderful staff.My cat, Juniper sees Dr. Kia. She is a spicy little brat. But for Dr. Kia Juniper immediately purrs and relaxes. I wish she would do that when I brush her!!!The staff especially the receptionists are so positive and kind and caring. They make your dogs and cats feel like celebrities!They also keep the lobby clean and there's free coffee!”

“VCA ASEC is truly the best clinic you could possibly find. It is staffed by the best doctors, nurses, and other personnel. These caring angels make this place special. If you love your pet, bring them to this clinic.I'm writing this review the day after our beloved dog, Lilu, passed away at this clinic. She fought for a month and a half, during which we visited the clinic often for surgeries, procedures, and other services. We are heartbroken, barely able to endure each day. But what VCA ASEC did for us is beyond words. We asked them for a paw print to later tattoo in memory of Lilu. They not only provided a paw print but also sent flowers to our home and prepared a condolence card signed by the medical staff. We cannot express our gratitude enough for everything they did for us and our dog. We know they fought with us to help us get through this.From the bottom of my heart, we love you, VCA. “My Cocker Spaniel, Goldy, has been under Dr. Pasternak's care for about four years. Last summer, she developed a stubborn ear infection persisting for three months. “Amazing Service!! My dog is a very scared baby when he sees any vet. He's the dog known everywhere to snap at people lol. He went in to the exam shaking and came out calm. That's when I knew Dr Tsugawa was great energy :) I warned Dr Tsugawa's staff prior to him going in for the exam, that my dog may not let him look in his mouth but Dr Tsugawa was the only person my dog has ever willingly let look. My dog had dental surgery today. I dropped him off at 10am. Around lunch I received texts from Dr Tsugawa of the the X-rays and his thoughts. He phoned soon after to clarify and see if I had any questions. We went ahead with the procedure. I received a text as soon as my dog was awake and normal around 12.30pm. At 2pm I picked him up. He was alert but a little unwell, as expected. Dr Tsugawa came out to speak to me, his staff clearly and slowly explained the medication to me and I was good to go home. I liked that Dr Tsugawa only wanted my dog on one medication for a few days for the pain/swelling rather than having a bunch of medications, which other vets always seem to prescribe after surgeries. The entire process start to finish was so smooth, clearly communicated and my dog is now at home resting and on the mend. Even at home I texted Dr Tsugawa a few questions and he responded promptly. I want to thank Dr Tsugawa and his team for the great service. I have already recommended you to friends.”

“I have been taking my dog to MB Animal Hospital since she was a puppy. They are wonderful! The staff is very friendly and helpful. They always try to help me get an appointment as soon as possible. Dr. Steinman is an excellent vet. He is very patient and always makes sure to give a detailed explanation as he examines my dog. Every time my dog has a vaccine or comes in for an illness, the office calls me the next day to see how my dog is feeling. I highly recommend MB Animal Hospital!”

“I was looking for a new vet and recently began visiting. From the very beginning I have been impressed with how it runs end to end. On my first call and follow-up where I booked an appointment everyone was pleasant, and I wasn't on hold for very long. I was able to get an appointment and they informed me of the parking situation (street/metered) and what they needed from me on the first visit. When I arrived (a few minutes early), their paperwork was easy to fill out and they added it to their system. I was in the private room right on my appointment time, a tech came in to review the basics, a few minutes later the doctor came in. I have a couple observations about my visit that really impressed me. First, I came in for one reason for my pet (UTI) but he noticed that she had some dandruff and zeroed in on that and gave me some recommendations for shampoo to help (allergy/skin stuff). I liked that he was looking at the whole picture and not just the reason for my visit. It was on my list but not the primary reason. That big picture view is what made a good impression on me. Second, the front and back of the office was in sync. When I went to the room, the front desk paged out the room # and waiting for the tech. When the tech left a page went out for the doctor. I saw this the whole time I was there, constant communication between the different areas and staff. I really appreciate a team that works well together, it drives efficiency and everyone being on the same page, they raise the bar. Thank you and keep it up. This also contributed to other people being able to get allergy shots or other services for their pets so they could be in/out. I'm sure the meter situation helps drive this, but I liked the attention to detail in general and after my visit I got two calls over the week as a checkup, lab results and ensuring my pet was doing well. Thank you all and looking forward to future visits.”

Everything about the operation is first-rate, but the REAL reason I've been so loyal, despite moving further away from the Olympic Blvd. offices, is Dr. Carvalho!! She's a terrific vet - gets to the point, doesn't shy away from bad news, doesn't look for it, either! Neither complacent nor alarmist, Dr. Carvalho has navigated me through all kinds of crises and near crises with a number of beloved dogs and cats. I wouldn't go anywhere else.”

“Scout has been a patient of dr. Linson for 6 years. He's had lots of issues over the years. I can truthfully say that Dr. Linson is a rare human being. Besides being a great doctor, she is extremely caring and goes far and beyond to take care of her patients. It's hard to find someone like that nowadays. The clinic is clean, wait times are small, personnel is friendly and helpful.”
