“An excellent source for graphic novels for school age kids, especially if you want more diversity than the typical marvel or DC approach. When I found out my 1st grader was trans, this store helped me find age appropriate books that they could see themselves in. And they in turn learned stories about brown kids, black kids, and immigrants from other graphic novels there that I would never have known existed. Staff are excellent and know their stock.”
“Very unique shop :) They have a great selection of used and new books. I especially like the poetry section, there are lots of rare/small press publications. It's also cool to pop in for live music.”

“Bookshop West Portal should be on everyone's best book store list! It's my personal favorite - it feels like a warm and inviting community space, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they know their books. I love going there. Their stock is always good, and they can order anything that might be missing quickly. They also regularly sponsor author readings, and book clubs. For example, Irish author Ethel Rohan curates an Irish book club, recommending books to read and authors to follow. It's such a wonderful neighborhood - City - amenity.”

“What a beautiful bookstore with such a generous inventory! With time to kill waiting for a delayed flight & a book in my carry-on I had finished hours before, I was so happy to find that Compass had a huge number of books on my want-to read list (not just the limited amount of trending/newer titles that most of the smaller book sections in airport gift stores have). If you’re looking for your next read ahead of travel at SFO, please give them a visit - they also have a store in Terminal 2!”

“I went here a while back to buy some very affordable guitars when I was teaching myself how to play the guitar. I bought a nice electric guitar (Stratocaster style--I don't recall the brand) and a Rosa acoustic guitar. I also purchased a tambourine and a recorder. Even though they were not expensive, the employee (I think his name was Abraham) still added on an additional discount! What a deal! So, if you need to purchase an affordable guitar, which are displayed in the front window, this is just the place for you.”
“Books Inc. is a very cool bookshop located in terminal two of San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The decor is warm and inviting, there are literally thousands of books ranging from children’s, teenager, to adult. Books of almost any genre are available. They also sell toys and stuffed animals for the kids. Great place to stop by if you’re ever in the airport and are looking for a good Red. I recommend.”

“I love this bookstore! The items are very reasonably-priced and there's a great variety of inventory in the store (gift items, Bibles, greeting/note cards, a really cool selection of Christian rings, etc.). I like the wide selection of books and Children’s Bibles (for all ages) in the children's section of the bookstore. Well worth a visit!”

“Excellent organization. They follow through with their customers, ask questions if they are unsure about your order, they have even given me tips on how to reduce costs. The products are all overly pricey, but thats the way it is with all church supply stores. Ive had the owner or ceo reach out to me in the past, and this past week I had a customer service question and the person who responded was the same owner/ceo”
“This school has the most amazing gardening. The spring is the best time to visit the campus. One needs to bring a camera. The trees and bushes are beautiful this time of year.”

“I just got a hoodie here for 58 dollars. Champion hoodies are good quality. I have worn mine for years, and it retained their color. They have a lot of trinkets and school supplies merch. They also have tech for laptop stuff. Located in a fun building, nice atmosphere.”

“I look forward to reading the newspaper every morning. Although I also check web & TV news coverage I thoroughly enjoy old tech paper page flipping. Familiar writer's skills in the use of the written word are so much more impactful than other forms for me. I appreciate not scrolling online articles. I feel the paper does a splendid job of reporting the news in a cogent manner. Truth be told, I am not finished until I've read the comics always found on the last couple of pages which lightens any heaviness of headline news. I also, enjoy having multiple uses for the actual paper once read.”
“I have come to this Hudson News Store in San Francisco International Airport many times. Sometimes, I wanted a snack or water. Sometimes, I just want to check out the gifts or other things in there when I have to kill time at the airport! They have enough choices of snacks and drinks. Of course, the price is higher because of the airport. The store is clean and very well organized whenever I'm here. The workers at this location are friendly. The best thing about this store is they're never overly crowded.”
