“An excellent source for graphic novels for school age kids, especially if you want more diversity than the typical marvel or DC approach. When I found out my 1st grader was trans, this store helped me find age appropriate books that they could see themselves in. And they in turn learned stories about brown kids, black kids, and immigrants from other graphic novels there that I would never have known existed. Staff are excellent and know their stock.”

“This is my go-to spot for books locally. There is a warm, friendly environment. It is very neat, organized, and clean - just how I would like my own library. It is well lit with lots of good features on display. Oh, and signing events with authors! Eragon! They do have medieval fantasy titles and books too! There is a whole section dedicated to that - more geared towards young adults. But it is good to see a few Dungeons & Dragons titles here and there! If you are a local teacher, inquire about the discount! For educational staff too, I think? This is valuable and a good way to support local bookstores.”

“I was doing a walk about The Mission this early September afternoon. Medicinas para Pesadillas. Damn! Wasn’t that what I’m always looking for? I asked the staff for help selecting contemporary Mexican American literature. The thicker the better. Magical realism, dark psychologically themed short stories that make you question reality? Yes, por favor.The staff’s selections exceeded my expectations.Medicine for Nightmares indeed.”
“Matt is great, Every time I head into this store I hope he's working! He has amazing manga recommendations and great customer service skills, never failing to make us smile at the register. Despite previous bad experiences here we always head to this location because of his customer service. Matt deserves a raise, more hours, all of it!”
“Gah! Just discovered that our favorite neighborhood bookstore is shutting down. We couldn't be sadder. We have loved going to folio books on the weekends to browse, and always order our books from them. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have guided us to some favorite books over the years. it's unclear why the five owners decided to shutter the shop, and they have asked for privacy according to their website, but we want them to know how beloved the store has been to us and to the community. Thank you for everything, folio books!!”
“I went here a while back to buy some very affordable guitars when I was teaching myself how to play the guitar. I bought a nice electric guitar (Stratocaster style--I don't recall the brand) and a Rosa acoustic guitar. I also purchased a tambourine and a recorder. Even though they were not expensive, the employee (I think his name was Abraham) still added on an additional discount! What a deal! So, if you need to purchase an affordable guitar, which are displayed in the front window, this is just the place for you.”
“Nothing beats the satisfaction of holding and reading a physical book so this place is perfect. In addition to books, I go to Harvest for gifts to encourage others as well. And the owner, Margaret is just one of the nicest person you'll meet and she really loves God and people!”

“Wide variety of high quality California treats and souvenirs. Higher end, but also pricier! Got some locally made trail mix, jerky, and fruit candies. The self check out is handy and I really appreciated having a staffer there to help us navigate the system as I accidentally broke my glasses while shopping and I couldn't read the screens. Great service. Fab selection. High prices.”

“I have come to this Hudson News Store in San Francisco International Airport many times. Sometimes, I wanted a snack or water. Sometimes, I just want to check out the gifts or other things in there when I have to kill time at the airport! They have enough choices of snacks and drinks. Of course, the price is higher because of the airport. The store is clean and very well organized whenever I'm here. The workers at this location are friendly. The best thing about this store is they're never overly crowded.”
