“If you love the hunt for a great book, B Street Books is the place. Even with the move to Burlingame, this is still my go-to for unique and obscure finds. The selection is wonderful and the staff is the perfect mix of expert and hands-off—they let you browse in peace but are there when you need them. It’s a great way to spend an hour, and you’ll inevitably walk out with something special you won't find anywhere else.”

“I had a wonderful first-time visit to BookShop West Portal today. This bookstore has all the current must-reads in politics, history, non-fiction, and fiction titles. Neat and clean space with an organized layout. The two ladies working today were very nice; when I called to ask for a specific book and when I arrived to purchase it. There is a few benches around the entrance and there are restaurants, a bar and a coffee shop a few steps away so folks can get reading in their preferred environment. Can’t say enough nice things about this local book store and I will be back as soon as I am done with my current read. Special thanks to the girls working today that made me feel welcomed.”

“Cute local women-owned bookshop right here in Westlake. I used to work nearby and would often make a visit for my book needs! They often host community events and are always super helpful. In between shopping, eating, grocery stores, banking, and boba runs sits a little reading nook called Peninsula Books. Definitely be sure to stop by and take a gander at their selections.”

“I went here a while back to buy some very affordable guitars when I was teaching myself how to play the guitar. I bought a nice electric guitar (Stratocaster style--I don't recall the brand) and a Rosa acoustic guitar. I also purchased a tambourine and a recorder. Even though they were not expensive, the employee (I think his name was Abraham) still added on an additional discount! What a deal! So, if you need to purchase an affordable guitar, which are displayed in the front window, this is just the place for you.”

“I walked in right after they closed and the volunteer still let me browse for ten minutes ... that was really nice of her honestly, im glad she did that becuase I found a great cookbook for five bucks. Most books are really cheap and they had a decent selection of fiction and some older nonfiction too, though it was a bit cramped near the gardening section. Definately check the back tables, they have bags of children's books for like a dollar each which my niece went crazy over. They also have a section of local history books that they clearly took good care of, bindings are all intact and no mold ... some of them looked almost new. The only thing I would change is the lighting in the back corner by the mystery novels, its a little dim and hard to read the spine titles. Still walked out way happier than I expected for a random wednesday, this place is worth stopping into if youre in the area.”

“Books Inc. is a very cool bookshop located in terminal two of San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The decor is warm and inviting, there are literally thousands of books ranging from children’s, teenager, to adult. Books of almost any genre are available. They also sell toys and stuffed animals for the kids. Great place to stop by if you’re ever in the airport and are looking for a good Red. I recommend.”

“I look forward to reading the newspaper every morning. Although I also check web & TV news coverage I thoroughly enjoy old tech paper page flipping. Familiar writer's skills in the use of the written word are so much more impactful than other forms for me. I appreciate not scrolling online articles. I feel the paper does a splendid job of reporting the news in a cogent manner. Truth be told, I am not finished until I've read the comics always found on the last couple of pages which lightens any heaviness of headline news. I also, enjoy having multiple uses for the actual paper once read.”
“As an SFSU Alum paying a visit for some merch for a new student, I was impressed with the one person that was working entire bookstore. He was friendly and welcoming, assisting me with purchases, even allowing my dog on-leash into the bookstore. Very nice return visit to SFSU.”
“I have come to this Hudson News Store in San Francisco International Airport many times. Sometimes, I wanted a snack or water. Sometimes, I just want to check out the gifts or other things in there when I have to kill time at the airport! They have enough choices of snacks and drinks. Of course, the price is higher because of the airport. The store is clean and very well organized whenever I'm here. The workers at this location are friendly. The best thing about this store is they're never overly crowded.”

“I got the Cuban Sandwich. It was certainly an imitation of that food item, but why this place has 4 stars is that it's roughly 5 dollars cheaper than comparable items throughout the airport. The real move would be to bring snacks with you when you fly so you can avoid the price gouging performed by the airport.”
