Finally I stumbled onto this StorQuest. They had a 7 x 10 for a promotional rate of $49 a month for four months. Fantastic.
But even better for me than the rent was the human touch that made me feel valued as a customer. I spoke first with an affable gentleman, who pleasantly and efficiently made a reservation with a three-day hold no cost.
Shortly after that, Maria, the Manager herself called. She was so good that I didn't need the three-day hold. I didn't need a one-day hold. That's because I was one-day sold instead.
Maria was the consummate salesperson. She wanted to close the deal. There was nothing wrong with that. What was right about that was her approach to making that happen. Friendly but never pushy, thorough, Informed, and caring. Maria earned my business, and when the extra mile to close this deal with a smile.

“We are from WA state. While building our second home (snowbirds) in SoCal, we left our car with climate controlled Palm Springs Car Storage. This certainly saved our car from the heat damage during the summer months. Robert, the owner was responsive, kind and wonderful to work with. We could pick up or leave our car at any time. We would definitely use this service again.”

“The front desk guy was on his phone the whole time I was trying to check in and it felt super rude, like I was interupting his personal life. He wasnt exactly helpful either, just kind of grunted at the forms I had to sign. Otherwise the unit itself was clean, dry, and the price was fair compared to some other places I looked at around here. The location is pretty convenient if you live on this side of town, easy to get in and out with a truck. Honestly if they just hired someone with better people skills it would be a 5 star spot. I would probably use them again just for the unit quality which is my main concern.”
“The place was nice and kept at a December temperature during the summer. I did leave because the pricing was fairly high. I also had a hard time with the hours not working around my work reschedule so I finally bought a place to take my stuff too.”

“Cash or check only. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The privacy hedges between each site are amazing but take note that if you have a larger rig (I have a 34ft travel trailer) it is going to be tight and you will very likely have to ask neighbors to scoot parked cars to maneuver in. They well $10 quarter rolls for laundry and have a general mailbox area (A-Z) you can receive/send mail. $100 a day seems a bit steep but I like the location.”
