“I had an AMAZING experience at Franco Uomo – Palo Alto. We worked with Ibrahem, and from the moment we told him this was our first time doing a custom tux, he opened up Pandora's box for us!
It was an incredibly informative session that opened our eyes to so many possibilities. The world of custom tuxes is next-level, and Ibrahem walked us through every detail with such care, creativity, and enthusiasm. They truly have EVERYTHING —a wide variety of fabrics, shirts, buttons… if you can imagine it, they have it.
His thoroughness got us genuinely excited about our wedding, and we even learned a few things along the way. Before we left, he even gave us a thoughtful list of questions to ask other tailors we were planning to meet with—which really speaks to his confidence and professionalism!!
We left feeling informed and incredibly grateful for the experience. Highly recommend.”

“I've already done a review of the Rodd n Gunn store at Manawa Bay, Auckland airport, where the exemplary experience enabled by the staff (Medi and Chaminda) there floored me. It was a continuation of a similar experience at their Tawa store in Wellington with the staff member Rahul being very helpful and courteous.
And now moving across the Pacific to California. I bought (quite a) few pieces for myself and as gifts in New Zealand, before making the hop to.San Francisco. One of them was a gift for someone in the US, and the size turned out to be wrong. I had the receipt, and armed with that I went to this store. I was half expecting it to be a problem, because of it being a different country, different inventory codes, different pricing, etc.
And yet, the manager (?) of the store - Anthony (spelling?) assured me that he'd do all he can after checking options. And he did. He got the size swapped out! I was delighted and relieved - after all, these garments don't come cheap.
And not only that, he went on to guide me about some other product lines very helpfully, informed me of the upcoming 4th of July offers and gave me the option to choose garments which I could pick up at the offer prices when they would go live.
Unbelievable, consistent service quality across countries. Are they all sent to the same training school or something?
It is such a delight to deal with the staff at any Rodd n Gunn store.”

“I was there today to exchange two jackets I bought online. Samantha was great and knowledgeable. I thought she was the manager for the kind of service she gave me. “Today, I returned a garment that was too small, and the employee helping me out (ponytail and beard, unfortunately I didn’t catch his name) was exceptionally helpful. He exchanged the item at the original purchase price even though the price had gone up over the past few weeks. He also accepted the return of the unworn item even though one of the paper clips was missing. Overall, it was a very positive experience with truly outstanding customer service. I love this store.”

“This was fun. Blondie and I stopped by to just look around. I'm not in a position to shop here, except for something special perhaps. On the first floor is the cologne/perfume area, and I looked for a Dolce & Gabbana area, which they don't have. When I asked someone, I got attention from three people who were eager for me to try some exclusive brand that NM carries. We started talking about cologne scents like others discuss wine, which was new for me. Do I like citrus, or something a bit astringent? I didn't even know how to answer, but they had plenty of options for me to try. They handed me a glass of champagne, and even offered a second, which I declined. I took a look at the third floor restaurant and bar, because I was more likely to eat there than shop much elsewhere in the store. The menu looked casual impressive. Again, I really enjoy looking around a NM, regardless of whether I get anything.”
“My family visited the Palo Alto JCrew store this weekend to find a black suit for my son. We found a perfect Ludlow suit for him but it needed alterations. Our sales assistant, Robin, went above and beyond, to help us get the suit to the tailor before she closed to expedite alterations. We needed the suit by Tuesday in time for a family funeral service. He personally came over to the tailor's shop, a few stores away, to ensure that everything was taken care. A big shoutout to the branch manager, Tony, who also went above and beyond to assisted in the purchasing. Excellent customer service!”

Not only was she helpful and customer service driven when it comes to apparel, but she also unhesitatingly assisted me in finding the right exit down the escalator (there are many exits in this big store). He found everything my husband needed from top to bottom, followed us to the fitting room, and kept checking on us to make sure we were taken care of. “Love this store! Jacob was superhelpful in helping me find a great business suit! He went out of his way to help me find shoes similar to what I'd pair with the suit to get a better feel of how it would look put together. The tailor, Mr.Said, took careful measurements and voila the suit was ready in a couple weeks! And Peter today helped me pick it up. (And he may have a second career as a Yelp cinematographer!) Super gracious! Zegna never disappoints! Been here before and now back again!”

“Brunello Cucinelli is awesome! I visit often, and the staff are always super friendly and welcoming. I really enjoy the layout of the store. The look and feel is very open and it feels like a high-end social space.
The sales reps are great and adjust their service to fit your needs. They have amazing refreshments, which is a nice touch you don’t see at many other stores (and in my experience, other stores usually only offer such perks during special events).
The tailor here is also fantastic, and they have free tailoring for any Brunello Cucinelli clothes. I recommend this place for anyone who is interested in luxury clothes.”

“I visited Hoa last week to get custom fitted for my wedding tuxedo and could not have been more thrilled with the experience. Hoa doesn’t just take precise measurements… he does so much more with that, analyzing your body type, your goals, and really getting philosophical with the fitting! He was extremely patient with us, taking the time to answer all of our questions and educate us on the intricacies of all the different fitments and options. I can’t recommend Hoa enough and haven’t even received my final product yet. Can’t wait to pick it up!”
